Kuby Immunology

At first, I was skeptical because of the other reviews saying that they were receiving damage books, but I needed the book for my course so I ordered it and it came in nicely packaged, and it also had plastic wrap on the book. The book is in mint condition no pages are damaged, covering is in good condition.

It came early than predicted and it was still in its plastic.

As far as the book itself, this is wonderful and five stars. Four stars from me for this review because though I rented this book, it arrived completely beat up. The cover was taped on and it was still filled with other people’s notes - not a big deal, I just don’t want to have to be pinned with the responsibility and pay for a piece of crap upon return. It Arrived on time. The material in this book is fantastic - I actually wish I would have bought a brand new copy.

A wonderful book that I high recommend! Particularly for antivaxxers! Since they’re already experts in the immune system, this should just be a light read! It’s 900 pages of beautifully illustrated major histocompatibility complexes, TCR peptide chains, cytokines production, CLR signaling pathways, MHC polymorphism, IFN- gamma, IL-4 and IL-6 production, and everything else one needs to know to properly “research” immunology in order to make educated decisions for themselves and their family! One of my personal favorites; it’s definitely a MUST! 👏🏻👏🏻

This is a comprehensive and well written textbook on the immune system. The illustrations are excellent and I recommend for anyone studying biological sciences.

I disliked that the loose pages were not placed in a folder!!! they were indeed completely loose! I work at the University of Athens, Greece, I am Prof. in Immunology and teach Immunology at under- and post-graduate level to more than 180 students per year. I expected to receive the loose pages in a folder together with a CD with the text, figures, animations, lecture presentation, videos, etc, as I received with the 7th edition of Kuby which I bought from another source. I am very disappointed and will never use or recommend Amazon to any of my colleagues or students.

An excellent textbook for understanding the fundamentals of human immunology. The only thing I wish for is that it could be possible for someone who has bought the book version could have a code to access the ebook so that the animations (that are available with ebook) could be accessed too.

The contents, write ups and diagrams are really well illustrated in this book. The concepts are written in such a way that is easy to understand.
