Highly recommended - wish we'd purchased this years ago!
We live in an urban area and routinely walk around 10-15 minutes for all of our shopping needs. We tried several typical shopping carts early after we moved to this area, and none worked well enough to be worth using over just carrying bags manually. Most are designed vertically, so you have groceries on the top weighing down groceries on the bottom, and so are not very practical to begin with. In addition, we found that most had small wheels that are easily blocked by minor imperfections in the sidewalk or street. This past summer we were so weighed down with carrying back our farmer's market bounty each week that we were planning to resort to buying a wagon (such as Radio Flyer or they type used for gardening), thinking at least that could carry all of our produce without things getting smashed on top of each other and with sturdy wheels that could handle real-world sidewalk and pavement. Then we came across the Scout Cart, which has turned out to be perfect for our needs. The upright design is much more convenient than pulling a large wagon behind us, while the tiered baskets keep your purchases separated so they don't have to stack on top of each other so much. The wheels are big enough to handle most sidewalk/pavement imperfections and the cart handles easily even when fully weighed down. To top it off, the cart folds down very nicely for storage in our small condo in between uses. We have gotten many comments on the cart from other market-goers since we purchased it, and I would highly recommend this cart to anyone.

Fantastic cart worth every penny
Ok so I saw this cart on a job site (I'm a low voltage field engineer) I used it to go and perform things I needed to do for my job. I was so impressed with this cart /buggy I had to get one. I'm so glad I did too... I already knew what I was getting... this is a very very well built cart. I was impressed with the packing too... you can just tell when a company has pride in what they make. You really get what you pay for with this. I couldn't recommend the scout enough. I've got several carts I abuse the heck out of each of them. Over weight them and just generally abuse them...the scout had handled all I've thrown at it so far Still performs like it did when I unboxed it. Love this thing

It Swings Around Wildly and Dangerously !!!
MAJOR & Dangerous Flaw !!! Only one of the back wheels locks. On a bus or subway, under acceleration, or deceleration, the Scout will completely swing about violently !!! Today I got yelled at by a lady !!! There were 3 people with various carts on the bus, 2 of whom had their carts lock brakes on, and while theirs were steady...my cart lurched, swinging wildly and dangerously all about, smashing into fellow passengers legs all the time ! I was yelled at " Can't you put the brake on that thing ? " I had to pitifuly keep saying to everyone else in the danger path of the Scout " I'm So So Sorry!!! Only one of the wheels has a brake on it " I was never so embarrassed in my life....A baby carriage, another cheap looking shopping cart...and they all came equiped with perfectly adequate braking, while my Uber expensive Premium Scout Cart as inexcusably equiped with a maliciously equiped braking system, that could for a few more dollars expense and minimal forethought of design, been properly equiped with a 2ndary brake lock. I noticed the other carts on the buss, had a single axle pipe between the left and right rear brakes, with a protruding foot activated lockin pedal...one click locked the brakes on both wheels....ALL OF THESE OTHER CHEAP CARTS DID !!! I called the manufacturer of the Scout, and when I got their CS on the line, I demanded to speak with someone in Upper Management, eventually I got the VP of the company on the line...You know these management type women, who are more like politicians or HR reps, who so sweetley have perfectly worded comebacks to everything...Yes, we are well aware of this defect.Yes, we are well aware of how dangerous it is, No, we don't have any fix for making it safe, Yes, I see your point that for a few dollars expense a 2nd brake could be designed into The Scout... We'll take your comments into consideration the next time we re design the Scout.. Scout should really issue either a total model recall, or at least have a substitute part that can be sent to concerned customers !!! In totality, this female VP, could only be " read " as not giving a fk, and shuttling me off the phone as quickly as possible, you know I was just an annoyance acting like a whining 2 year old... If there's ever anyone injured by this Scout, I'm going to give them this VPs name and number, and tell them they should sue the company for knowingly manufacturing and selling a a wildly hazardous, dangers product, that they well knew, could as designed, cause hurt, injury and suffering to those in its operating vicinity !!! Other than this, I must say The Scout a an extremely well thought out product and I love using it. The soft rubber wheels, glide along the pavement, and inner store linoleum flooring in an almost silky manner. The handle bar has a soft, warm responsive grip to it. The wire baskets are strongly constructed. Steering the cart around can only be described as " Nimble " I live in an Urban neighborhood, and weekly take the Scout Cart grocery shopping, and am regularly complimented on its looks, and am truly instilled with a sense of pride....why does such a positive experience have to be so dramatically mirrored by such a negative and dangerous design flaw...Scout, I can only attempt to shame you into please correcting this major flaw !!!

Perfect Cart!
One of the best decisions we have made was when we bought this Scout Cart! It is perfect to transport, light-weight, easy & smooth to maneuver, perfect to help stabilize those who need a bit of help when out shopping where there are no other carts available! Definitely worth the money we spent! I have nothing but good to say about it! I love my Scout!

Wife loves it.
We are getting up in years and the wife wanted something to help walk with, but more useful than a walker and lighter than a full size shopping cart. This has been perfect. We checkout by putting the groceries on the conveyer, then have the checker load them right back into the cart. The wife gets a lot of positive comments. Light weight, yet sturdy with a solid feel.⭐️ Wheels roll smoothly and quietly. Steering is smooth.⭐️ The baskets go on and come off easily and are sturdy with handles to carry your items from car to house.⭐️ Comfortable handle with versatile adjustment.⭐️ Top folding latch is a bit troublesome to release the folding mechanism. ☹️ FYI, access to the bottom basket is much bigger if you hang the top basket sideways.

It was so easy to put together
I received my Scout Cart on Friday and used it for the first time on Saturday. It was so easy to put together. I have to admit that I had trouble with the top basket and folding the cart up for storage; but, as the old adage states, if all else fails read the directions. Now that I have read the directions all that is very simple too. I also used the cart on Sunday to get some heavier items from the grocery store. I live 2 blocks from the local Lucky and needed to get some cat litter and other items. I am 70 and have COPD, so carrying heavy items home is very difficult and I do not drive. What a breeze. The cart is amazing. Well worth every penny. It will get major use.

Couldn't live without it
I've had this cart for 3 years now and use it every week for taking the trash & recycling out & bringing groceries from my car to my condo. I'm disabled & am extremely limited in what I can lift. This cart meets every need I have and has not shown any wear from my 3 years using it. Today I put 4 cases of water in it, bottle by bottle since I can't lift a case, and it held up fine with all of that weight. I think there's been maybe twice in the last year where I haven't been able to fit all of my groceries in it & have had to make 2 trips from my car. There's just so many different ways you can cram stuff into it. I truly couldn't live without it!
