If I could rate this higher I would. This wax is so freaking good. I’ve gotten the best underarm with this wax and it picked up more hair than the wax I was previously using. I love this wax. Highly recommend.

I bought this as it was recommended for very coarse hair combined with sensitive skin. I was searching for something I could use on my face, which has very thick and coarse hair. I was tired of shaving every day, sick of the nicks and 5 o'clock shadow, waxing seemed like a good solution.I will not say that it was an enjoyable experience, for the nature of the task. Waxing hurts for everyone, but high testosterone (women or men) increases hair density significantly and causes coarser hair growth that makes it even more painful to tear out.So yes, it was very painful for me. I believe that says a lot about the quality of the product, though. Every strip I pulled had a LOT of hair pulled straight from the root. I have sensitive skin on my face such that it gets red if I even massage it, I was still able to go over most areas two or even three times with this wax. On my chin the hairs grow the thickest which caused a little bleeding on the first pull. I followed the provided directions, which were very helpful, I was able to maximize the benefits while reducing harm from waxing.In all I think this is a great product for getting rid of very coarse hair, as that is my experience, and my sensitive skin did well with it. I think since it is fairly pricey it is good for its marketed intention, rather than whole-body use. I have never waxed and never used hard wax before, either. The directions and ease of use were great.Instead of using a melting pot I used a silicone cup over a candle warmer I got from a craft store for $2.99. I used the switch to moderate temperature as needed, it was really easy, and so much cheaper than buying special warmer... Unrelated to the review but candle warmers are much more useful than they may seem...

I am in esthetician school and purchased this to practice waxing with. It is not worth it. The wax breaks easily when pulling strips. It often misses hairs entirely
