I bought this to replace a stovetop Le Creuset who has begun to lose its enamel all around the base. This kettle heats up fast even when full, shuts itself off once the water is at boiling point, and won't boil itself dry. I feel its better for my family than plastic kettles, as the water doesn't touch any plastic. The interior or the kettle and spout are all stainless steel. The capacity is great, as I can make several cups of tea and still have some water in the kettle.UPDATE: I had the kettle for six months and it worked without fail until one day, it wouldn't turn on. I tried several different things, and nothing worked to get my kettle going again. I contacted the company and they had me remove the bottom panel and take a photo of whatever was going on over there. Within 24 hours of contacting them, they diagnosed the problem and sent me a brand new replacement. Wonderful customer service and a kettle that works beautifully. What more could a customer ask for?

This kettle is perfect for making coffee or tea, and I’m very happy I found it. The kettle is made of stainless steel and feels very sturdy. My favorite thing with this kettle is how quickly it can boil water compared to a stove top. If you fill it completely with 2 liters of water it will take about 5 minutes to boil, but any amount less than that will be even quicker. Once the water is brought to a boil the kettle automatically shuts off with a click which is a nice feature to have. Compared to a stove kettle this one does not whistle so I can use it for late night study sessions without waking anyone up. You can also use this to make ramen, making it a great college essential. Overall, I am very happy I found this kettle and it has been fantastic.

I bought this kettle LITERALLY a little less than a year ago to date.It’s worked fine, been easy to use(just flip a switch and it’s on) it’s kinda slow taking about 5-6 minutes for a full kettle of water to boil. After time it’s started to have some wear at the bottom of the kettle inside (I think that’s normal) but the outside of the kettle has remained immaculate—no rust or deterioration.However, after only one year it’s already given out on me. Turns red as if it’s on, and does not boil. Most small kitchen appliances have a life expectancy of about 4-5 years.Additionally, no warranty and when reaching out to the sellers there is no communications or response, no resolution. Bad customer service.Amazon shows the "top rated" reviews but take a look at the most recent! Everyone can vouch that this thing does not last and there is no fix with customer service. Save yourself the headache.Not worth having to buy a new $25.00 kettle every year, when it’s been used as it should.

I've had this kettle for 9 months and within that time it worked great for me. I did notice some rusting along the outsides of the kettle within the first month but it worked so well and seemed fine on the inside that I overlooked the issue. Recently it just gave out on me, it just wouldn't turn on anymore. And even though I had been filling it up with water only the inside looked pretty badly tarnished. I contacted the seller about my problems and they replied very promptly. Turns out it was a malfunction with the temperature control inside the kettle. And maybe that's also why the steel's color looked so badly discolored(over heated) as shown in my photo. They explained to me that they're always working to improve their product and reassured me that they would communicate with the manufacturer to prevent the reoccurrence of this problem. They also agreed to send me a replacement so I'm pretty satisfied with the service overall. It's reassuring as a buyer to know that if you have an issue with a product even past return date that the seller will still assist you. I appreciate that. If you're on the search for a simple and low cost electric kettle I'd recommend this. It's saved me a lot of money and time in the long run because it was nicely priced and it boiled quickly and efficiently with no strange aftertaste.

This is my first electric tea kettle and I am quite pleased. I have been using it regularly for a few weeks now and am very happy with my purchase. The kettle is very simple to use and heats quickly, and is an altogether solid and well made product. I wasn't sure if investing in a kettle would really be any better than heating water on the stove or in the microwave, but it does make positive difference in the taste of tea. Totally worth it!

Bought this kettle in February, 2019. It worked great for about 18 months -- then the on-off switch stopped working. I had to watch to make sure it turned itself off once it started boiling. I guess I got my money's worth, and it still heats the water, but it's disappointing (and dangerous) that I actually have to unplug it from the wall to turn it off now. Into the trash it goes.

Very HAPPY for our daily afternoon tea. Worked well for almost two years, BUT then some place a leak has developed, the water comes out around the black plastic section, leaking down on the electrical base. When I received this item, it worked so well I gave it a five star rating, and have used it once a day since, but even though it look perfect on the out side the leaking water is a hazard and the unit must be replaced. I am disappointed that what appears to be just the perfect product that somehow this particular one has a latent defect making it unable to use and unsafe. I think the manufacturer should be reviewing the quality of the material used to make his product as something as simple as a TEA POT should certainly LAST longer than two years when it is only used to heat water once a day.
