Plenty of strength to hold the hood. Best feature was the ease of installation. Make sure you have a helper or a sturdy prop to securely hold the hood up during installation. I completed my installation in about 10 minutes.

Used to replace the hood risers on a 2013 ford police interceptor sedan. The process was even easier than I expected. The OEM risers fail overtime after excess engine bay heat (long stationary idle times) causes the gaskets within the piston to leak and lose pressure. Don’t be lazy and cheap by using a stick or something, the cost is so low it makes no sense risking injury by a heavy car hood falling on the operator.

Great deal, the hydraulic pressure is firm and automatically lifts hood up. Were much more expensive elsewhere!
