LG 30 in. Trim Kit for Countertop Microwave Oven in Stainless Steel MK2030NST

Great product! Beautiful design and fits perfectly. Only fits the 2.0 cu microwave size. I had mistakenly purchased the 1.5 cu size and the trim isn’t designed for it. A little drilling involved and only took 45 mins to install. Highly recommend!

I am pleased with the quality and appearance of this trim kit. This product arrived well packaged with all the required accessories for installation. The kit seems to be very specific for LG Microwaves. The installation was not difficult but it was necessary to be precise to ensure an accurate fit and level appearance. The trim is solid metal but care still needed to be taken to not dent or damage the finish. I have submitted photos of the instructions with the dimension guidelines since they did not appear anywhere I could find online. MK2020NST Instructions are helpful and would suggest careful review before making a purchase.

There is a lot more to this item than just a bezel.It is an entire ventilation system.The picture shows only the outside trim bezel.Inside the box you will find several other large parts that must be installed in order to mount the bezel.NOTE: YOU MUST MAKE MODIFICATIONS TO YOU MICROWAVE OVEN IN ORDER TO USE THIS ITEM.The reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because the instructions suck and the dimension for the 30” cutout template is wrong. It’s 1.5” too wide and required me to slim it on both sides to be able to mount the parts correctly.I can usually assemble almost anything without reading the instructions. This item is not self explanatory, so i needed the instructions.The instructions are complete, but are written in narrative format, so it takes a lot of reading to figure out how to do something that is relatively simple. Better drawings would have made the tasks easier.It is a high quality item though and after all was assembled, it looks great.If you are an EXPERIENCED handyman that can understand bad instructions, then this is a project for you.I WOULD NOT recommend this for someone who does not possess a great deal of McGyver skills.

This product was too big for the opening in my cabinet, so I requested a return and they said I would have to pay the shipping charges which I did and I returned it to them have not received credit for this item on my card.

No issues with the installation. The fit and finish look great. (If you see any screw holes from my pic, they're from the previous dead microwave surround. Completely different brand).
