Awesome product

Got on an Amazon sale deal. Overall 9/10 Pros - 1) Best toast than any other toaster out there. 2) Build quality is fantastically American. Not so Pros - 1) Great to look at, but the metal outside gets hot. 2) Oh so American, does not have a dust cover on top.

I bought the American Micronic 2-slice toaster after considering many other brands including Philips, Russel Hobbs, Prestige, Bajaj, Black and Decker and Kitchen Aid. What made me choose this? 3 things: 1. I did not want something overly complicated as I only wanted toast and toasted sandwiches - it toasts and has defrost and reheat functions 2. I wanted something easy to clean and which wouldn't look bad after being used by multiple people (I have 4 people + a maid who use the toaster - The toaster is completely made of stainless steel so is easy to clean and doesn't scratch easily 3. I wanted something strong and reliable which wouldn't get moody (thermostat setting keeps changing, browning level keeps changing etc.) or go bust (malfunction or the plastic cracks) - again stainless steel so strong enough and no worries about cracking Pros: 1. Consistent performance - browning works as promised - because of the dryness of the bread which I use, I have not been able to test the browning control above 4.5 as my bread starts to burn 2. Buttons are ringed with blue light to show when power is on 3. Wide bread slots each of which can take 2 slices if you're trying to toast a sandwich 4. Stainless steel makes it look very premium Cons: 1. The toaster is a little light and tends to slide around on the counter top What could have been made better: 1. Grill racks for sandwiches would have been a nice touch All in all, makes an awesome toast and looks good while doing it

[24 May, 2020- around 5 months after start of the first phase of Corona] Received the product today. Used it briefly. People are people and people like issues, so I'll put the issues first. The temperature knob seems a little fishy but will update about it soon. That's all the issues that are burning a hole in my soul. It's a shiny product, and works as described. I don't have much experience with toasters, as I mainly need something that can make the bread crispy without burning, as I believe the Rs 2k burn in my pocket is enough for now. It looks classy, something that will make you wanna keep this on the kitchen counter. The classy effect comes from the fact that It's all steel. Beware that steel is steel and steel is a good conductor of heat, so take care while using it. I have noticed that it does get pretty hot while using, so keeping it out of your child's reach would be a step in the right direction. Taking about steps in the right direction, it has hinges in the heating area that keep your bread centralised giving it a balanced heat overall, at least that's the idea. Though it works relatively to the price of the product, but I'll give it 3 out of 5. It's also because that's the knob setting that perfectly crisps my breads, 3. Anything further is a bad idea, but feel free to experiment Talking about balance, this toaster requires you to keep both compartments full of bread, for a balanced heating. This urge for balance reminds me of Thanos, and that further reminds how things can jump from and to the past, like this toaster. It jumped from 2018, when it was imported, and was delivered to me. Though I wouldn't complain as long as it shines as described. The final product from the toaster is a crisp piece of bread that you can cut easily using a knife. It feels like a rusk but softer. It's hard enough that you can rub a cold brick of butter against it without breaking the bread, but soft enough that you can cut it using a knife.

Quality is good, works well

The 1st experience with toaster was amazing. The crispiness adjustment is fine and set it according to your requirement. The fit and finish of this product is top notch. The cancel button on this toaster is a blessing. All in all happy on Day 1.

Looks great, cable length is standard and no issues with that. The main issue for me is the knob that controls the toasting of the bread. It's soft and smooth and hence it slides and moves every time you handle the toaster, so you have to get it back to the desired spot every time you use it. The toaster is wide enough to accommodate 2 slices in each slot, but you can't put anything in between to make a sandwich, it's not wide enough for that. So, the width doesn't serve any purpose. I would have bought a slimmer toaster had I known that.

The product doesn’t its job. Makes bread well toasted. However the exterior gets heated which can be a safety issue especially with kids around and if u r clumsy one. The product looks nice n neat and work well.
