So far so good. Be sure to follow the instructions. My first pairing I didn't, and the lock didn't work correctly with hub at all. Using Hubitat, device paired as Schlage. Change to Generic ZWave Lock. Now works perfectly.Con: the back side of the lock is fairly tall. Measure the distance between dead bolt and door handle to make sure it will fit.

I really like Kwikset products. I bough this on thinking I could connect it to my Apple home connect, ADT system, and Alexa. I did not do additional research and only found out after installing that I need an additional z-wave hub. I like the product, just wish that was clear.Product works great and will get other for exterior doors that are just WiFi capable.

We now have three of these in our house. We bought them to work with our Homeseer home automation system and this lock works perfectly with it. The codes work great for when we forget a key. Using the home automation, we can program them to automatically lock at a certain time at night (we have children who sometimes forget to lock the doors). Plus being able to rekey it at any time without a locksmith is great too (we move every 4 to 5 years).

After a lot of time spent with customer support, the first one I received had a faulty network card so it never worked wirelessly so they sent a replacement. After a lot of time spent with customer support, the replacement had a faulty sensor and always showed that it was jammed when it wasn't. They are sending another replacement so we'll see.

I have a lake condo that I rent out and needed something that I could program from home as I live 3 hours from the condo. This fit the bill perfectly. I had a slight issue with the app not working with my new Android phone update but that's been fixed now. And it works great again! You do have to purchase a smart hub. I went with Samsung SmartThings. I've had this set up since August 2019 and I've been happy with it.

Reviewed: May 26, 2020This is a review of the Kwikset 99120-038 Smartcode 912 Z-Wave Plus Leverset, Venetian Bronze.I purchased this smart lock after extensive research and in-person reviews at the local box stores to touch and feel. My primary purpose for the lock are 1) reliable touch pad, 2) auto-lock after 30 seconds, and 3) Z-Wave Plus. Two out of three.....1) Reliable Touch Pad. This has been excellent. I was able to setup the code and my family uses this daily.2) Auto-Lock. This was a must to ensure a secure home. Love this feature. It is a feature as the inside of the lock has dip-switches for on/off capability.3) Z-Wave Plus. This is the worst implementation of Z-Wave Plus I have ever seen. I have over 20 GE smart light switches, dimmer switches, and other devices. Everything else I have is great, except this. From Day 1 it stated "failure to connect to network". If you absolutely need this, pass on this lock.CUSTOMER SERVICE. Horrible. I opened a ticket immediately and was promptly contacted. That's were any customer service ended. Multiple times I have requested a status update without any response. I have asked repeatedly for updates as there is only a 30 day warranty on Amazon. My case is 20200*****22 should anyone from Kwikset want to look into this.May 31, 2020: Update: Not a single response from customer service. The ticket status remains in 'waiting on customer' even though I have placed several comments in the follow-up without their response.

I ordered two of these and they were fairly simple to install and paired flawlessly with my Hubitat Elevation hub. Battery life is good so far.

Looks great and so far doing a great job. Matched our other handles perfect.
