Grass spreads well, grows in our southeast clay soil, and is drought tolerant. It's a little more work seeding, which I think is true of all centipede. The seeds must be covered with soil or they won't germinate. You can't just throw seed on the ground.

Great if you want a beautiful trouble free lawn but think in years - it establishes slowly but will crowd out everything else eventually. I was a little upset after around a year because I was used to Kentucky Blue. Give it 2 to 3 years to really look great. You must, must, prepare the soil. I used an aerator run in tight circles until the soil look like a pig sty. Apply 1/3 the seed. Run aerator again but not in such tight circles. Apply second 1/3 seed, repeat. If you can, cover with grass clippings or pine straw to prevent wash outs. My grass now covers my lawn and is taking over the neighbors. This grass shoots out runners like crab grass rather than grow like Kentucky or Rye.

Purchased for a yard in Hawaii. I felt that I prepared the yard space well enough, raking it in after distribution. However, I'm not seeing any grass starts at all. Considering the price, this was much too expensive to have absolutely nothing come up.

I can tell you this, it sleeps, it creeps, it leaps. We should be sleeping/creeping this year.

We used this to reseed our centipede lawn this spring. The combination of seed, fertilizer and water has really improved the look of our lawn. Our neighbors have all commented on it. Centipede seems to be a fairly difficult grass to grow. The seed is always expensive. This seed is not a bargain but I’ll use this again next spring.
