Spax Bit T-Star Plus

A real improvement over standard torx bits when using Spax T-star fixings. Particularly effective for stainless T-star fixings as they offer more engagement/support.

I bought these to use with some SPAX stainless steel decking screws. I've plenty of driver bits, including T-STAR, and these are about the best I've used. They're extremely high quality, the plastic collar is a useful identifier when they're buried in your tool bag (or in my case accidentally dropped on the ground in the garden amongst the grass and weeds) and they're extremely hard and long lasting. They're also a superb fit for SPAX screws - once engaged with the screw head it almost feels like the driver bit and screw are a single piece of metal. Highly recommended !

Works well with Spax screws if you need them to stay on the bit and be transported to the workpiece. There is a lot of variation in bit requirements across the Spax range so you tend to need a lot of different bits.

I was so surprised when I received 5 in a box I thought it was for one. I love Spax plus screws, the extra length was invaluable.

Really pleased with this item. I am still using the first bit after driving 500 plus spax screws to fix a siberian larch decking. It is also a percect fit for the spax screws with no sheering at all

This is not what is posted in the picture. With a thinner body. Because of this, the bit does not hold the original SPAX screw vertically. Which was the main reason for buying expensive bits. Disappointing.
