Rada, what else can I say.
Very great set for a great price! All knives are sharp! I been using Rada for 20 years, with I got this set years ago. Great gift for family, spouse, new homeowner etc. Highly recommend.

Worth it
Our local Costco was selling cutco knives which reminded me how dull my knife set was. My sister suggested this brand and I am so happy with the purchase. They are so sharp and useful, durable too! No worries about the handle falling off. My only wish is that this set came with at least one knife that is heavier and bigger. They are all very lightweight, which is nice for most jobs, but every once in a while you need something with some weight behind it. Don't send them thru the dishwasher! Just wash by hand I've had mine for a few months now and they are sharp as ever.

Absolutely LOVE these knives!
I first purchased the peeler a few years back for my mother. I was so impressed by the peeler that I purchased this set for my new home. Having had Cutco knives and well as Henckels knives before I decided to give these a shot. I will say that I have never been so impressed in my life. They don't have the handles like the Cutco do of course, but they are very nice brushed metal which I like. I like that they are all metal, and I don't have to worry about them melting if they touch something too hot. I am also very impressed with the price. My Cutco knives were about 600 dollars for a set of 5 or 6 and a block. My Henckels knives were about 300 for 6 or 7 knives and a block. I personally think this is a little ridiculous. You can get the Cutco replaced for free if something ever happens to them, but you have to pay for shipping which almost cost just as much as buying a new Rada knife. These do not come with a block, but what you can do is either buy a block, use a magnetic knife holder, or put them in organizers in a drawer. These knives hold up very well as well. They are incredibly sharp, and the handle feels great in my hand. I do recommend hand washing and drying them immediately after use.

Absolutely SUPER SHARP....these are not for sissies or kids uses. Band aid city if you do!
I readily admit I have not had these but for a few days. They arrive in a thin box, and they are displayed well when you open it. Just different packaging than usual. I must say, I read a number of the previous reviews and was torn about what to do, but I really needed some new knives and good ones cost! But i have to have GOOD ONES!...I looked these over thoroughly and I was surprised to find the different uses. They have a little pamphlet that explains each one. The positive things I noticed quickly are the following: they ARE SHARP..i mean SHARP. Be careful when checking them. Ask me how I know? The smaller knives do flex in a way that I usually don't like, but these work really well. They are razor like and cut smoothly and quickly. the blades are stainless, and the handles are aluminum. They look really good aesthetically. The pricing is less than some knives you usually see. They do recommend you wash them by hand and then DRY them immediately. I think these will work very very nicely, esp. for specialty needs. Now I will look into storage of these. I must find something to keep them in, as they are too sharp to put away willy nilly. I additionally ordered steak knives and an extra three knife paring set. So far, I like them a lot and echo the sentiments of many users who have previously rated these highly.

Wonderful High Quality, American Made Cutlery with a Lifetime guarantee
Simply put, I purchased both main sets and this is the nicest cutlery I have ever owned. I just trashed my Henkels (they are not what they used to be), and gave these a try. I had never seen them before because they are not sold in stores. They are just wonderful. Be careful, I have cut myself several times already. These are the sharpest knives I have ever owned. They are also very light in the hand which feels awesome. My personal favorite at this moment is the tomato knife. The aluminum handles are very original and sheik looking. I bought a 25 slot Knife block and now they are all nicely displayed in my Kitchen. I especially love the card these sets come with that is personally signed by the knife sharpener (a real person!) at this company. Every set is hand crafted and sharpened! This is 2011 and to find that type of personalized quality still in existance is just amazing...and far removed from the mass produced chinese junk out there.

Best knives I've ever had!!
I absolutely love these knives! I was given a smaller set as a wedding gift almost 15 years ago and they are still considered the "good" knives. I've lost some along the way, so I needed to replace them. I decided to go with the bigger set this time tho.I'm really enjoying them! The tomato knife is AMAZING!! Like really awesome!! I love to have my friends use it. It's so fun to see their face as they use it for the first time and fall in love. Lol they always ask where they can get their own.I also love the pairing knives. They are absolutely the best I've ever had!The bread knife.... This is a great knife!! It cuts so well!!A new one to me is the cheese knife. I am really enjoying this one. It cut the Monterey Jack that I had very well and my kids loves how you could pick up the cheese with the end.I've given you a review of the ones I know and love. As I get to know the other ones better, I'll update. One thing that would be nice... If the company were to label what some of the knives were used for somehow on the felt liner they come in. I'm not exactly sure what some of them are suppose to be used for.I like that these knives are made in the USA. And the company also does fundraisers.I definitely recommend these knives and the company is superb!
