How many of this lock is recommended for a door and the best part of the door to place it?

I have used only one for my indoor locker. I love it. But i woud recommend 2 for the front door, the first lock may three quarters up and the other on the bottom third of the door. Should be very secure.

Reading reviews, length of screws is questionable. What is the length of the actual screws that are included with this lock?

If someone breaks the glass, can it be opened from the outside?

I want to buy this security lock for my wife who is alone at home. Is it difficult for her to install it alone?

FIRST, it's a great lock; specially designed to accommodate the older style, curved door molding. I used 3" wood screws (identical head-diameter of those screws supplied). (Note: my home was built in the 1940's, so my older type of door molding was ideal -- with absolutely no 'fitting' necessary; on the other hand, if door molding is 'sharp-cornered (i.e., 90-degree)' then a bit of woodworking will be required.
