This is a lovely little carousel! It’s all plastic, but sturdily made. The horses are nicely painted. And this is the only carousel out of the ones I’ve seen online that actually sounds like a carousel. The others sound like music boxes. Its one fault is that there are light mechanical or maybe scraping, sounds when it’s in motion. Listen to my video. For me that doesn’t detract from the overall effect. Real carousels have mechanical sounds too

I have it on a table in my bedroom. I just love it. It does make a slight noise if run on silent, but that is just the music box running. When the music volume is turned up you don't hear it you just hear the music. the horses go up and down and are all painted beautifully. Brings back so many childhood memories. I love Carousels and there just is not enough of the old ones around anymore. Just a few small ones at traveling fairs and carnivals. I plan to get another in the future.

The carousel is exactly what we thought, it is beautiful. Put as it turns it makes a squeaking sound we cannot get rid of. It was packaged secure and arrived in damages. We were replacing a carousel from 25 yrs ago.

My Yia Yia cried when I gave her this. It’s beautiful! Her favorite Hallmark movie has a Carousel in it, so she has been wanting one, and I surprised her for her birthday with this one. Arrived in perfect condition and plays music and moves when plugged in.

Cheap, flimsy plastic with broken piece in box. The whole thing looks like very low quality plastic and motor. Was shipped in its own box. 2 pieces of hard styrofoam. No protection against any kind of impact. I’d be surprised if any of them arrive unbroken.
