Frame Mount (ANDMK-301) for HERO3 and HERO3+ Cameras

Just what i needed! I wish I had bought this case before going to the governors ball music festival last week. I previously only had the waterproof case to protect my gopro, and as you might know the waterproof case is horrible in regards to sound quality. This case gives my gopro a little bit more protection than what it would have without any case at all, as well as letting me be able to mount it onto an extendable pole. I love that they include an extra case to use with the LCD screen. The mic now is able to pick up all noise, and I'm excited to use my gopro in every day activities.I paired this case with the GoPro Protective Lens to add a little more protection since the lens is now completely exposed.All in all, I highly recommend this product!

Bought this based on several reviews here and I'm very glad I did! I wanted to be able to plug my GoPro in while driving so as to be able to use it for as long as I had memory. This allows you to use it while plugged in and works great. It came with a thin frame and a wide frame(for battery backpack) so you get two for the price of one! Both have the hole cut for the plug in as well. All the buttons work fine. It also came with a cap for the lens to protect it while not in use, wonderful idea and keeps it from getting scuffed and from getting fingerprints on it. Well worth the money! Save your waterproof case and just get this! You really won't regret it.

If you are looking for a frame only mount so that you can use the microphones for your Hero3+, then this is your only option unless you go aftermarket. GoPro lists this as being compatible with the Hero3+ and well, to an extent that is true. The 3+ fits perfectly fine in the frame, is super snug and will never accidentally pop out when tightened down, and allows better access to the microphones than the waterproof cases.So why the sort of? Well, on the Hero3+ I believe they moved the microphone on the side next to the power button. I don't have a Hero3 to compare with, but on the 3+, the side mic is centered whereas on the frame mount, the mic hole is closer to the top of the camera on that same side. The result is less clarity when you're recording from the side, but pretty good sound out of the top. This can be easily rectified by drilling a couple of small holes in the side of the Frame mount. It's not like the frame is going to keep water out by any means, so I can't see the harm in it.As for the Frame, it really should be the Frames as you get TWO frame mounts. The skinny one for the regular battery, and the fat one for the backpack battery. Additionally, you get a couple of adhesive mounts, so all in all, for the cost, it's not too shabby.I'll post a video review a bit later showing the small difference in ports.

Surprisingly this came with 2 brackets, 1 for regular GoPro, 1 for Bacpac accessory add ons, lense cap, extra bracket, screw and stick on base attachments. Camera fits securely in bracket, buttons and charge/transfer connector accessible. Lense is not protected, it's not protected from water or dust, so camera is more vulnerable (we use the clear lense cover). Camera is lighter and more low profile in this case, great for wearing on belt clip, mounted inside vehicle, inside mounted to wall to record activities or performances or other place you don't want the big, clunky, glaring case.

I bought this in hope of fixing the overheating issue with my GoPro Hero 3 camera. We use the camera in our Jeep mounted to the dash and the sun from the windshield causes the camera to overheat and shut down. I haven't tired this product yet in the Jeep, so am keeping my finger crossed. I tried the Skelton case and it worked better than the enclosed water proof case, but the camera still over heated with it. I looked at other Frame knock offs and decided to go with the manufacture brand. Amazon offered it at a good price. I played around with it when I first got it by mounting it on the camera and it seemed to be just fine as far as quality goes.

I use this to mount the GoPro 3 HD any time the shooting takes place indoors (such as in the house or at events when I'm shooting bands or choirs). It is much less bulky (and less expensive) than the skeleton mount. Someone posted a YouTube video suggesting removal of the microphone protective pads (which I did). This improves the sound pickup, but then offers no protection of the microphones from moisture, dust, or wind. Since I use these indoors only, that was no big deal to me!

This is OK but over priced for what it is. Getting the GoPro into the frame is a bit tricky as you have to bend open the flimsy frame and I felt like I was going to break this the first time I did it. It's light and fits well. You get a second, larger, frame for when you use a back on the camera.I used this for when i just wanted to take some shots with the camera whilst walking around. I think the main problem is that you feel the camera is very vulnerable without the waterproof casing and I was conscious that the lens would get dirty or scratched easily.I'd recommend this only if you have cash to burn and you have a definite use for it in a very safe environment.

This frame mount fits my GoPro Hero 3 black edition perfectly. I bought it mainly to record better audio with my GoPro while playing piano and the results were just great. I would totally recommend buying this product from Amazon.

Wie man es von GoPro gewohnt ist, erhält man einen super Artikel, in super Qualität. Aber der Preis ist, wie immer, sehr hoch. Beide Frames passen sehr gut, ob mit oder ohne LCD an der Hero3. Schön ist, dass es einen kleinen Objektivdeckel dazu gibt, und zwei neue Klebehalterungen. Aber hab ich schon den hohen Preis erwähnt? Aber als GoPro Kunde ist man ja langsam "abgehärtet". Schön wäre es natürlich, wenn man auch bei dem ganzen Zubehör mal zwei/drei Sticker reinlegen könnte.

En su embalaje original, trae dos carcasas para usar con el monitor y sin el, trae sujeción normal y con pegamento para cualquier superficie. Todo muy bien, util para la gopro H3 en caso de que necesites conectar el usb y no tengas el housing skeleton con aberturas. También para utilizarlo en condiciones que no necesites el housing estanco. Muy ligero.Buena compra.
