Easy to operate and good gain control
I purchased this unit for my church to replace a much older 6 disc CD changer that was noisy and slow to load.This unit fit perfectly in our rack in a single space. Two XLR mic cables to the digital console, set input gain, connected power to the unit and it was up and running. Easy to install.It sounds good. Much better than the old machine. It loads and cues quickly and quietly.Perfect for playing backing tracks when we need them. The LED screen is easy to read and functions are easy to understand. The remote control easy also easy to operate and very convenient for our operators.

Instruction booklet layout is very hard to follow.
Different languages are intermingled for each feature in the manual. I finally had to go back and highlight the English paragraph for each feature. The remote is very small and does not seem to be well made. I had to force the AAA batteries into place at a risk of breaking the plastic. The buttons are tiny for an average man's hands. I am not disappointed with the actual sound.

Deserves 6 Stars but only 5 stars are available
This was a great purchasing experience! It was delivered in less than 24 hours. I unpacked it and got the unit to play a CD in less than 10 minutes from when it was delivered. The sound quality from this Gemini unit that is included in my McIntosh system and emanates from Bose speakers is superb. It is much better than the unit it replaces- a Pioneer PD-M601 that I bought in 1992; that 6-disk multiplay CD has recently failed to play -it only worked for 31 years. I trust that this one will work much longer......
