I’ve been buying Drools Calcium Sausage for my dog for a long time and never had a problem — until this time. The pack I received looks fake. The packaging was already suspicious — flimsy and not sealed properly — but I still decided to keep it. When I opened the sausage, it was wet, smelled odd, and was breaking apart easily (which is never the case with the original product). I usually use one sausage over 2–3 days by mixing a little bit with my dog's food. But within a few days, the whole jar caught fungus! This has never happened before in all my previous purchases. I strongly suspect this is a duplicate or tampered product. Drools needs to look into this issue seriously. It’s disappointing and risky, especially since our pets’ health is at stake.

Dogs literally drool over this. Break it into small pieces for puppies they might choke on it if given whole. I usually smash the sausage and mix it with chapati and rice and water as it provides great flavor to the otherwise bland chapati and rice.
