Crocodile Toaster Tongs and Oven Rack Pull, Solid Cherry Wood

I was searching for something for my spouse to use to get toast/english muffins from the toaster without being electrocuted. I have some small wooden tongs, but they are across the kitchen at the toaster oven, so I thought I would spring for another $5 pair. But then I saw this. It was a lot more money, but infinitely cuter. I have it on a shelf above the toaster where it makes me smile. I have to admit my old pair never did that. For some reason it is a bit wobblier on my glass shelf than my butcher block counter, but I can see it better on the glass, so that is where it lives. It also can be held by a hook or even over one of our cabinet pulls, or a strong magnet could be attached to the back to keep it on the front of the stove for rack pulls. I like that this is made by a real person in the US. That is important to me even during the best of times, but is especially nice now. I bought a second set for our winter home - perfect for Florida. I used Command hooks to attach it to the wall next to out toaster oven.

Not only is this tool cute, it is more versatile than I expected. I purchased it as a toaster tong and then discovered it also serves to pull out a hot oven rack and to push it back in. All I was thinking about was that I need tongs to get toast out of my toaster when the bread was on the short side. This puppy cost more but it looked like it would be worth the extra price. It is!

Great product and also takes things out of oven. I was looking for just a toast remover so it was too big. But a great gift.

Overall this is cute and effective for not burning your fingers. We ordered a second one when our toddler broke the first one. Probably can withstand normal adult use

-The 3 "Wilderness Animal" cut wood Pot Lid Lifters were purchased for Christmas gifts to allow air circulation while preventing boil over. -It could be a wonderful tool as is the Snail lid lifter (slot measures 8mm and wood thickness also at 8mm) I was gifted with years ago. -The 3 Wilderness Animal do not have the slot cut large enough (at 5mm) to fit any pot I own I can not force (& I used considerable) the figure any further onto the pot as am afraid the figure (at 6mm thickness) will fracture. The lid takes forever to fit precariously on the back of all 3 figures and falls off if even slightly bumped. -The 3 Wilderness Animals as designed are not functional. What a shame.

These tongs should be something that is included with every purchase of a toaster- they make extracting toast, pop-tarts, english muffins, and anything else you put into a toaster infinitely easier to extract. Not much more needs to be said- they look good, and work even better.

Worth every penny. For anyone that frequently uses a toaster, this is a must. I keep it on a little ledge in my kitchen so not only is it incredibly functional so you’re not burning your fingers, it looks adorable too.

Love this clever tool For toaster oven to push rack in or pulling it out and of course the tong end for lifting. And it’s cute enough to leave on counter!
