The colors are more subdued then in photos which I prefer. It's a very thick and seems well made. No regrets

I dithered for months before buying this because the other reviews made me wonder about the colors. One review says the colors are muted and dull, others say they're bright and jewel tone. I didn't want dull or too bright. I wondered if some of the rugs came out in a different color batch than the others. I think it may come down to photos vs the real thing and one's expectations. When I look at the yellow/gold in the photo, it looks more yellow than gold in the picture. My rug shows a deeper gold and a deeper more autumnish orange. The colors are deep, saturated but not dull. What I was looking for was a rug with "cool" colors (as in cool side of the color spectrum). I was concerned that the gold and orange would warm it up too much. The blues help keep it cooler. It also helps that I paired it with the Himalaya Light Blue/Dark Blue Rug (also on amazon but I bought that one elsewhere). Perfect match (the photo of that rug does NOT do it justice). It has 2 shades of blue that match the New Wave blues (the darker blue and the marine blue). I am really pleased with the rug. Two more comments: First, these type of rugs, hand tufted, do "shed" initially and required a lot of vacuuming. I was prepared for that, so I'm not disappointed. Second, if you want to see what one looks like, Macy's carries the companion rug, New Wave IV. It has circles instead of rectangles. You can see a picture of it on amazon but Macy's actually carries it in their rug dept. I didn't like the circles but the colors are very comparable.

Would be a solid 5 stars without the chemical smell that took a week to dissipate. Stunning rug.

I got the 2' x 3' one and it's gorgeous! The colors are vibrant and it feels really well made. I wanted something that had some thickness to it so it didn't feel 'cheap' when I stood on it. This one feels plush. Love it!

When I helped a friend decorate her condo, we chose these rugs. When I found them on Amazon, Prime as well, I had to have them for my own house. They came in timely fashion, in good condition. The colors are bright as shown, the carpet depth is ver luxurious. They do need a pad under them. It's best, I was told, to cut the pad an inch or so smaller than the rug, allowing the fibers to eventually bend over the end to cover the white backing on the edge. Mine are still wearing down, but it's coming. The rugs shed at first and should be vacuumed on a diagonal to make the pine blend together and avoid the look of rows in the tufting. With a little effort, all will be perfect!

Poor pile density.Half of area without pile, just open channels for dirt.If you look at the images there are pretty colors with lines running across, not a uniform surface, in some of the pictures.In other pictures they have groomed the rug to hide the open channel lines without wool.The 2 x 3 I got at Home Depot had lines running across the wool fabric that were much more distinct than what is shown here on the Amazon listing.Over half of the top surface area is just open channels between widely spaced (versus tightly spaced, adjacent rows of wool pile).The backing, especially the edge binding is pulling apart, cheap fraying cotton, upon arrival.This one went back to the store. Bummer. Great design, poor quality.Very Poorly Made in China.

This is a thick, luxurious well-made rug. The colors are not as bright as they appear, but I noticed that when I look at the rug through my own camera it appears just as iridescent as in the online photo. One other 'con' is that it's listed as if it were square (5x5 or some such) but it's actually a circle with that diameter, so there is less rug than we expected.

Beautiful Rug. Ordered On Friday Evening And Received This Beautiful Gem On Sunday. The Colors Are Vibrant And Very Much Comes Alive In Any Setting. I Absolutely Love This Rug. It Added Much Needed Character To My Living Room. If You Are Contemplating Purchasing Don’t Waste No More Time. Get It ASAP!!!!!!
