Kids borrowed from school library and had to buy it. They love the funny sounds. I bought when I had a 1.3yo and a 4.2 year old… they are now 3.4 and 5.3 and they still love it really helps with onomatopoeia

A laugh out loud belly giggler! And it speaks its own language for all those who beat to their own drum. An absolute must have! I love this book so much that I may be reading it before bedtime each night. Sweet Droodle, Froodle! “Hee, hee, hahah, oh yeah!” ♥

This book is very much like the book with no pictures! Makes the adult say silly words and is a real favorite in my house (2 boys under 5!). This book is a must have in your children's collection! Prompt shipping and great service from seller!

Cats say, "meow." Dogs say, "woof." And little brown birds say, "peep." But one little brown bird thinks "peep" is too boring. She comes up with something different. Soon all the birds are saying funny things. Even the grouchy black crow. Froodle is a fun book loaded with nonsensical words. Kids will giggle at all the funny sounds and be entertained by the cute illustrations which compliment the text nicely. Recommended for children ages 3-7.

Text is hard to read over the illustrations, and the story, while cute, isn't actually that funny.

So funny! The silly sounds had my 3-yr.-old grinning and laughing as I hammed it up for him before bedtime. Bought it for my sister, too, though (and she doesn't have kids yet), partly because we share a crazy "random" sense of humor and a love of words, but also for the more serious implication of the book: that we can confidently be just what we were made to be (which often goes against the grain of what people expect) and look at "everyday" life through a creative, optimistic, confident lens. I love this book for kids and adults alike!

Little Brown Bird is a maverick. She doesn't want to caw, coo or peep like other birds. As an innovator and disruptor, she comes up with some new sounds. How about FROODLE SPROODLE for a sound? Crow was NOT amused. So, how about TIFFLE BIFFLE JUST A LITTLE MIFFLE? Little Brown Bird is an influencer, it seems. Soon all of the birds are talking silly.
