3M Red Lens Repair Tape, 03441, 1.875 in x 60 in

This is easy to apply and really stays on. I had a fix-it ticket for a broken tail light and it was going to cost a ton to replace the light. I applied this, following the directions, which only took a few minutes. The police signed off on the ticket, mentioning they had never seen this before but that it satisfied the requirements for the repair. The film is waterproof and has stayed on perfectly for several years!

This works exactly as I had hoped. It stays on through bad weather and covered the small crack I had in my break light with no white light showing through.

I busted my rear blinker when my tire blew out, so I wanted a quick fix. The tape is nice and thick, and the sticky nature has been pretty good. Just to be sure, I wiped the surrounding plastic lense with rubbing alcohol to make sure it sticks on well. So far it has held up for the past month, although it has peeled up a little on the edges after the first day. Surprisingly the tape hasn't peeled up anymore after that. I like how bright it is too. My blinker is brighter on this side because of the bright yellow of this tape, which is comforting. I also like that it only took one layer to make it a bright and easy fix, so you'll have extra for a few more applications if you're like me and don't want to buy a new blinker for awhile ;)

This product is freaking AWESOME!! If I could give six stars I would in a heartbeat. A new assembly would have cost me a hundred bucks. This cost $9. It was extremely easy to apply, and you can't even tell there was ever damage to the tail light unless you get about 6 in away from it and know where to look. I applied it 6 months ago and it looks as good as the day I put it on. No leakage at all. Before and after images attached.

I'm very disappointed with the purplish color. I don't understand why they'd have taillight repair tape that doesn't use the red that 99% of cars use! OTherwise, the tape is sticky and works well, as a VERY temporary repair (doesn't match the red AT ALL!).

This amazing tape saved us a very expensive repair, not to mention getting stopped for no tail light lens. So far has been very durable in spite of winter weather.

This actually worked quite well with the crack on my cars rear light. Covered a 1/2 inch hole very effectively.

bought to patch a hole in a taillight lens that is curved. the adhesive keeps coming loose on the curved area so i am holding it in place with clear tape for now. can't find a replace lens.
