When our Great Dane got sick after having puppies we had no choice but to bottle feed 8 puppies. This formula was very good and a much better value on Amazon than it was at local stores. With growing Great Dane puppies we went through a lot of this stuff. So thankful it was available and it did a great job.

When our Great Dane momma refused to accept her puppies, the vet sold us a canister of this milk replacer. Then we got a couple of these bags and we have healthy 6-week babies right now. Pricey but effective.

Just what the Vet asked for towards mixing Wildlife infant formula. I support the folks at our local Wildlife Rehab hospital and they recommended this product above others. 'Found it recommended on various wildlife sites as well, and listed as a key ingredient of many wildlife infant formulae around the internet. Can't argue with that. Only complaint I'd make is the price: Amazon is "as good as it gets" on that... but... what on earth justifies its price?! For that, I'm knocking off a star, unfairly or not!

I rescued 2 puppies that were 2 weeks old from a home that refused to provide medical care for a pup when he became very ill. He had gotten a severe bacteria infection on his neck that had become so enlarged he couldn't move his head, move or eat. After the owners released him and the runt to me and they were checked out from the vet, I started them on Esbilac. When I received them at 2 weeks they weighed in at 1.6 and 1.8 lbs. It's been about 9 days and they are now 2.6 and 3.1 lbs and thriving! Not to mention how well they love this formula. I couldn't be happier with the results that Esbilac is providing, it's very fulfilling to see a young pup go from suffering and near death to a happy, healthy puppy. Within the next week, I will be mixing the formula with soft puppy food to start the weaning process, but even my vet said Esbilac is one of the best puppy formula out there.

We had an orphaned litter of six puppies. Their mom died just two days after they were born. Luckily they got colostrum from her so we didn't have to worry about that. Some other breeders offered to take our pups and try and let them nurse on lactating girls they owned. We just didn't want to give them up. Losing their mom, who was only 4 years old, was a blow. The pups were all we had left of her, so we tube fed them, and when they got bigger, stronger and better at suckling, we bottle fed them. We've successfully weaned them off of the formula which seemed to give them everything they needed to flourish. They grew and matured at the same rate as pups from other litters we've had in the past. So, I would recommend this product without hesitation. It worked for us in the most dire of situations, and our puppies have matured beautifully.

Great product. Ignore the part where it says "do not blend). I fed this to my dog while she was pregnant for 1 month. after the puppies were born, she stopped breastfeeding early, so I had to give the puppies this. After a while I started to mix some hard food into the blender with this formula and they loved it. After a couple weeks I completely phase this out. none of the puppies died all grew up to be super healthy beautiful Belgian Malinois!

When we brought our doodles home, this was a lifesaver. Easy to mix, and they thrived on it. Gentle on puppy stomachs. Good nutrition when weaning. Large bag, lasts a while. No complaints — I always recommend this to new puppy parents.
