Sonim XP8 is suppose to be waterproof. My Sonim XP8 I bought from this seller isn't waterproof. I rinsed it off for about 30 seconds now my screen is faulty.

I've had this phone for about a year. The concept of this phone is absolutely fantastic. The adaptability to do more than most phones is really good. The biggest problem I have with the sonim xpa is the processor. It locks up about once a month to the point where I have to pull the battery to reset the phone. If they could fix the processor issues this phone would be the closest thing there is to perfect.

I had to return it. The Sonim xp8 will not work on a Verizon service. I am very pleased with there service.

I've had iPhones and two Razer Phones, which I loved. But those beautiful and complex hardwares are too expensive to be so fragile. Buying a hard case for them defeats the purpose in terms of aesthetics. This cellphone is tough (also heavy), loud and has programable buttons. I also purchased a cradle charger, so the USB-C port doesn't loosen up from excess use, as happened with my last Razer Phone. Don't expect super fast interface response. But it really serves it's purpose just fine.

it wont work in some countries in south america because the TAC registration doesnt check with the label

While I did not purchase this phone through Amazon, I got mine through at&t because they have their own first responder network, I have to say I absolutely love this phone and yes I do refer to it as my murder brick it is hefty enough that you could potentially seriously injure someone if you threw it hard enough. I do archaeology field work and as such I spend a lot of time in less than idea conditions, like the middle of the woods, swamps, marshes, bogs, all sorts of nasty places that are not friendly to electronics. Prior to getting this phone in December of last year I had been using the Galaxy active series of phone's and in my opinion this one is miles better. If you need a phone that can stand up to the elements and abuse this is definitely the top phone to get. Plus the battery life is great, I've gone over a week without charging it several times.

Recomiendo este teléfono, para entornos de trabajo duro. Aunque puede parecer caro, realmente és una máquina. No falla, la bateria dura mucho y no me da problemas de conectividad, bluetooth, etc, como me pasaba con otras marcas.

Tolles Outdoorhandy, macht alles was es soll !!! Deutsche Menüführung ist einstellbar, Bluetooth gibt es auch, sogar tolle Fotos sind drin !!! Das Vorgängermodel hatte ich 6 Jahre täglich auf Arbeit im Wald und der Akku hält immernoch 2 Tage !!!
