I was very impressed with this kit. While you can buy many kits that are much less expensive, they generally consist of no-name parts. I spent a lot of time searching out individual parts, but was referred to this kit by an Amazon e-mail. Search done - ordered. This is an impressive kit that includes parts by Gates (including a new Gates racing timing belt), and other parts by branded manufacturers that look to be of very high quality. I have purchased Mazda OEM gaskets separately, but otherwise, this kit will hopefully result in long-lasting results. Note that I have not done the replacement yet, but IMHO, the parts included make the higher price well worth it.

Perfect fit for a miata 1999.Uotstanding performance.

The kit is perfect for the necessary tune-up and comes with good quality parts. Only thing I didn’t like was the fact that they sent two front main seals and one camshaft seal instead of the required two cam seals and one crank main seal which meant I had to purchase another cam seal to finish up the job. I suggest before starting the job to double check the part numbers and make sure you have the necessary parts

A nice timing belt kit for our '97 1.8 liter Miata. Everything fit perfectly, water pump, gaskets, belt, etc.

I have a NB(1999-2005) Miata. Everything in the kit fit perfectly except the camshaft (intake) seal. The kit comes with 2 camshaft (exhaust) seals. Other than that it’s a great kit specially the timing belt quality.

I thought it a wee bit presumptuous to call something a racing timing belt but we could feel the performance difference. It has a more substantial feel to it than a traditional timing belt. (The water pump stopped the leakage we had going on.) I think it was worth the extra money.

This kit does not fit the 2001 to 2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata! This kit MIGHT be for the 1994 to 2000 non VVT engines but both camshaft seals are the same. The VVT engine, (2001 to 2005) uses 2 different camshaft seals. Both these are: MFGRFF# AH1968-FO OEMREF# FS05-10-602A Now I have to spend hours figuring out if any of the parts fit. The only reason you buy a "Kit" is to save time and have a lintel confidence that you have the all the right parts. Ugh! - Bill Kelly

Everything is correct. Except for one of the cam seals. This one's for a 2001 Mazda Miata 1.8 SE model. The right size seal is 2 3/8 of an inch big. If possible can you send me the correct seal. So I can complete the job. Thanks please advise. I tried going through Amazon but it wants me to return the items. I cannot water pump is installed all correct. Thanks
