Used as Beading Thread
The 2lb is perfect for loom beading, you can get several passes through a Miyuki 11. Inexpensive and good quality.

Invisible as a Catfish in Mud—But Stronger’n It Looks!
Spooled up Trout Magnet S.O.S. 2lb line on my ultralight and went after spooky rainbow trout—casts smooth as molasses and near invisible in clear water. Handled a surprise 3-lb bass without a snap. Zero kinks or bird’s nests after a long day. Only gripe: wish the spool had line markers. Made in the USA and perfect for finesse or creek fishin’—tougher than it’s rated!

Spooled on Ultralight Set-Ups
Line: 2lb test Rod: Ultralight Reel: 500 and 1000 sized reels Target: Panfish and Incidental Bass I’ve tried several 2lb test from different companies, and this by far, is my favorite. I fish mostly for panfish and will hook bass and have had no issues with breaks. With this light of line, I make sure to tie good knots (palomar, snell or double pass uni knots) and utilize the drag on my spinning reel. The line is smooth casting, invisible, and I get no line twist. Casts well and sinks with light rigs, even freeline rigs with live bait and no sinker. The only breaks I get is when I get hooked up on structure. This is a great value and works perfect for ultralight set ups.

Solid line for trout fishing
This fishing line performs well overall. The color is accurate and subtle in the water, which helps with catching more cautious fish. It’s smooth to cast and easy to tie, with decent knot strength for a 2 lb test. The line size is great for ultralight setups and works nicely for trout. It’s not the strongest line out there, but for light fishing, it does the job really well.

Good enough
The line spooled up nicely but while trying to thread it through the pole eyes it kept un-spooling and I only had the reel half full. I will have to wait until spring to test its durability in the water.

Best ultralight line I've ever used
*I have absolutely zero affiliation with this company.* I've been fishing for 25+ years and have used a lot of different tackle throughout that time. When it comes to ultralight setups, this line has become my go-to and it's not even close. I usually go for the 2lb test for my purposes where I'm targeting trout in the colder months and panfish (mostly crappie and bluegill) in the summer. This line is super durable to land a much larger fish that you're not targeting. I've landed an 8lb carp while fishing for bluegill, to give you an idea. It's virtually invisible in the water, especially if it's a bit stained. I've tried so many different lines out there and nothing even comes close to the SOS line. Another thing that I've had issues with other lines are wind knots when using super light bait. For example, I usually like to use 1/64oz jigs when targeting panfish and I used to battle wind knots with other light lines like Berkley's Vanish. This line will not completely eliminate it, but they will be much less if you know how to properly cast light lures. Easily my favorite line for ultralight fishing that I'll keep buying until something changes.

Good line. Silky smooth. Kink resistant.
I really like this brand. Works perfect on my Ultra-lite. Running in shallow streams, no abrasions. Easy to tie up on the move also. Theres no stretch. So, the feel is very sensitive. I do run swivels to cut down on twist though.
