Works perfectly, trivial to set up.
Great product. Allowed me to easily wire up low power lights and security cameras all over my house from my router thats on a UPS, so now when my power goes out, all my security cameras still work. And if it is early in the morning or late at night, my emergency lights go on automatically. Obviously a lot more pieces went into the setup, but there were many options for all other components, while this was the only 60w poe extender with 4 outputs and which does not require an external power source that i could find. Highly recomend this for anyone setting more than 1 device in 1 place on their PoE network.

4+1 port - does what it should, needs 60W+/1.1A+ POE source
Works as described/expected. (4+1 port version) Worth noting that powering 4 ports will usually require a 60W midspan POE injector, depending on the devices, and no POE injector is included. Vast majority of POE injectors I found on Amazon are half that power. (Since I work with commercial wireless equipment at my day job I have a couple) The injector should be rated to provide 60+ Watts, or 1.1+ amps at 56Vdc. I'm currently powering three (different brands) of 4k/8mp cameras plus a beast Cambium E700 outdoor wifi AP. All three cameras fire up IR illumination for night time, all four devices seem stable. j

So easy
I had a long POE run that used to go to one monitor in our lobby. Now we have 4 monitors there so I needed an easy way to network them all in. I didn't want to deal with additional power supplies & splitters so I just got this. It was as easy as it should be. I popped it on the end of the POE line and it started blinking immediately. I then plugged in the rest of my monitors and everything just worked. I has only been a week so who knows about long-term reliability but so far I'm a happy customer.

Perfect for Unifi Cameras
This works amazingly. I have it backhaul plugged into a Unifi POE Switch, and then i have 2 Unifi Pro G3 Cams plugged into it and 1 Unifi G3 Flex, all can work with nightvision on no problem. It has been super stable for the last 3 months in use. Great device works as advertised.

BE AWARE - Nice units but incorrect information in the product description on available power.
We use these extenders all of the time, but buyers need to be aware that the information provided in the description is somewhat incorrect. There is not 15 watts available on each port or 60 watts total. There are only 12 watts available per port in accordance with the provided user manual.

Game changer for CCTV
I do CCTV install work and these switches have been a game changer for me. Callbacks to add cameras to an existing installation can usually be done with no/minimal new cable pulls now. Reliability has been perfect so far. I’ve been connecting them to the POE ports on the NVR itself, and the vast majority of those are 802.3AT capable. No issues at all running 4 IP cameras from one of these switches in that configuration. I’ve also tested and confirmed that these do pass VLAN tags through if that’s relevant for your environment. Just learned they’re offering an outdoor variant of this now as well, so I’ll be grabbing a few of those too!

Does what it says on the tin
My setup is UBNT passive 24W 48v PoE injector -> this 4 port PoE splitter -> both Ubiquiti UAP-AC-Pro and Netgear GS105PE. Because I am only using a 24W injector, this splitter seems to send only 15W PoE to each device and the GS105PE appropriately disables PoE passthrough (I don't need it). This is great because I previously tried to use another GS105PE to power both devices, but GS105PE is too dumb to send only 15W to each device and fails to power the second GS105PE. If I need passthrough power I can always upgrade my injector.

Intermittent Disconnect powering UniFi U6-Pro AP
I have three of these mainly to power each of my UniFi access points from a central PoE switch and UPS. The two lower-power UniFi APs (U6+ and AP-AC-Mesh) work fine - no problems at all. The U6-Pro is considered a PoE+ device and is documented to use up to 13W. When the Pro is connected through this extender, the extender intermittently disconnects from the switch and resets the AP, seemingly when the AP's power usage is peaking. I tried swapping the extenders to rule out a bad unit, tried different cabling combinations from the PoE switch to the extrender, etc., and the only thing that worked was cabling the U6-Pro directly to the PoE switch (not through this extender). It seems as though this extender can only deliver up to 15W per port (regular PoE) not not 30W (PoE+) as claimed. I replaced this extender with a different brand extender, and that has been working perfectly for several days now.
