Retinol 2.5% Solution Facial Serum with Vitamin E - Facial, Age Spot Remover, High Strength Solution for Face without a Prescription, 1 Fl Oz (30ml)

I was having a lot skin issues (dull, sun spots, unevenness, acnes, etc) last year. A trusted friend suggested that I could incorporate retinol into my beauty routine. So I bought my very first retinol serum from Cos de Baha. The result was so amazing after 4 weeks of using it (almost daily), I even got one for my mom. She also saw amazing results after about a month. In terms of its content, this retinol is in light yellow color. The texture is liquidy and fluid, not sticky at all after applying. No scent whatsoever (at least to me). It absorbs into the skin quite easily. I usually apply facial lotion after this retinol serum. Bear in mind, the initial four weeks was an endurance test if one use retinol serum for the very first time ever. For me, my skin was peeling and breaking out constantly during the initial phase. Thanks to my friend, I expected the peeling and breakout period. That's just what retinol does. After the 4-week period, my skin looked amazing. No more breakouts, no more peeling. My skin was radiant. I even got complements on how nice my skin looked (without makeup) by other women while out and about, which surprised me big time!! I used to never get complements about my skin before. Nowadays, I only use retinol a couple times a week to maintain my skin health. And my skin still looks radiant. So there you have it.

Works great! Use 2x a week, after a hot shower. It smells amazing! Doesn't leave a greasy or oily feeling on the face, very hydrating. I have very sensitive skin and it doesn't hurt it at all. Shocking for the lovely way it smells. Only takes a few drops. I've noticed softening lines but not a change in pigmentation. It's a watery oil consistency.

I really like the dropper that is used to get this product out of the bottle. Others I have used use a squirt which goes everywhere and wastes a lot. Have been using this to lighten a dark spot on face and using on backs of my hands to moisturize, along with taking vitamin C to clear up bruises. Think it works well. Priced right too.

I love love LOVE the Retinol 2.5% solution. I've been using it nightly (only use at night) for over a year. It was one of the first products I started using while developing my skin care routine. My acne is almost completely gone, minus the rare spot or two I will get per month. I know it's supposed to be an anti aging solution but I really can't say one way or another, as I use several products. However, as far as acne is concerned, it's amazing. Has the consistency of an oil, but does not leave skin greasy or clog pores. 2 drops is enough for entire face and neck. Having never used a retinol product prior to this, I started with every 3rd night for about 2 weeks, every other night for 2 weeks and now every night. Because it is heavier than the other products I use, it is the final step before moisturizer. It is inexpensive and effective. Highly recommend.

Original (3 January 2021): I have erythematotelangiectatic rosacea. My skin type is oily. I have had rosacea since 2015. I have tried a lot of products to treat my rosacea but this is the only one to reduce the erythema! I use it once every other night after cleansing. The skin on my cheeks and forehead is thickened and the redness is most present on the cheeks and chin areas. I have tried not exfoliating, over exfoliating, prescription gels, azelaic acid, etc. This is the ONLY product to have actually reduced the texture and erythema. I recommend this for people with rosacea. I did not experience much flaking. I cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate (serum) in the morning and then cleanse and use this at night alone. Retinol is photodegradable so keep it away from light and use right before sleeping. This is like a miracle product. I wish the company made this in a 60 ml/2 oz bottle. Wear sunscreen! Update (9 April 2022): It looks like the company saw my review and finally made a 60 ml/2 oz bottle! I think the niacinamide in this really helps. The recent studies are showing niacinamide is recommended for rosacea. Dermatologists are recommending it to treat rosacea too. Great product.

Unlike many serious that have water as their first ingredient, this serum is based on aloe gel, giving it a much thicker consistency. It also has all the most important ingredients listed high on the list. When I compared this list to other formulas which cost more, I found that the important ingredients listed further down in the listing. Lots of hype for these products but less of the ingredients that do the hard work of improving the texture and look of younger skin. I am 83 so I don't expect miracles. I just expect a hard working serum which gives me the best result I can hope for. This is that serum. I use it alternately with another retinol preparation and I am seeing some remarkable changes in my old skin. Just five drops before my night cream. Most people think I am in my 60s. Can't do much better than that. Great product, great price, excellent company with a fine reputation. It is now and will continue to be my serum of choice.

It’s nice. Absorbs well, but I’m not sure how well it works. I love that the bottle has a plastic part that scrapes the product after the outside of the dripper glass.

Excelente producto, es cuestión de ser constantes pero es notable cuando usas el producto.
