What makes this tea so unforgettable is the muscatel flavor—a rare and exquisite characteristic unique to the second flush of Darjeeling teas. The second flush refers to the harvest that takes place from late spring to early summer. During this period, the tea leaves mature under the perfect combination of warm sunlight and mountain mist, developing a rich, complex flavor. Muscatel, often described as having a sweet, fruity, grape-like note with hints of honey and a touch of spiced nuttiness, is a prized hallmark of these teas. Good brew but aroma is missing!
Nice package with tin packed. Liquor is very good with no bitterness and sweeter brew but aroma of darjeeling is missing! If a bit of aroma was there it would be a very nice tea.

Excellent 2nd flush from a lauded premium company. Super fast shipping. The 2nd flush has the sought after characteristic of muscatel flavour & was reasonably fresh.
