I have been buying these oils forever. They are great for veggies, sautees, salads. Lots of flavor.

The taste of the olive oil seems to outweigh the taste of the chili peppers. That said, it's plenty spicy. For me, it simply tastes olive oil with a kick. I suppose we have subjective tastes when it comes to what we consider to be spicy. I read other reviews that said it lacked any kick, but for me, it had plenty. I made sure to shake it well before drizzling. There's a popular restaurant chain where I live called Jack's Urban Eats, and my favorite dish is their Urban Fries. I wanted to make it at home, which is why I purchased this chili oil. Basically, it's French fries (also good with sweet potato fries), chili oil, chili flakes, blue cheese drizzle and fresh parsley flakes. Overall, I'm very happy with my homemade version, except the olive oil taste is a bit overpowering. That said, I prefer it over the Asian versions that primarily use soybean oil. I have to limit soy products due to having hormonal issues and related health issues, such as endometriosis and adult cystic acne.

Since the 80s when good olive oil became sort of a mainstream buzz I have tried so many. From supermarket varieties, to William Sonoma varieties to flavored varieties given to me as gifts, they all just tasted sort of musty/funky to me. Then I began eating very low carb and appreciating quality fats in my diet. Then came COVID19 and being confined to doing my marketing online: the virus-related "shut down" has been revealing in many ways both horrible and good, but one of the absolute treasures I have come across is Mantova olive oil. I bought the four flavor pack: very well packed, just enough flavor to taste the basil, lemon, garlic, and chili. The oil is light, fresh, almost tangy. I make my own salad dressing, but the oil is so light you really don't need to add anything but a little sea salt and whatever acid (vinegar, citrus) you like. I'm buying another set as a gift for my neighbor. Generations of his family have owned & run a large spice company. He is going to love this. I highly recommend this olive oil. It is worth every penny. Congratulations on finding something fabulous!
