Fingerpicking Worship

I have quite of few of these Fingerstyle books. My favorite in this book is "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)". I like these books since the tune really comes out and there is no need to sing them. This book is advanced enough to but full body tones, and a little challenging, but not so challenging for me that I get frustrated and throw up my hands. I can't say all of this series is that way. My other faforites in the book are "I Sing Praises", "In Christ Alone" and More Precious Than Silver". It appears that many of these songs are in Drop D tuning. So it doesn't get crazy on the tunings, but it does get you away from the standard tuning that most books are in.

It's a great resource. . . if you can even see the tabs. Great songs and great tabs, but I don't recommend purchasing this through Kindle. I cannot hardly view the tabs either on my Kindle Reader, or my Kindle Apps on my computer.

This is a very well put together book of arrangements. There are some tiny errors in some of the songs like for example the first song Agnes Dei is lacking some notes but it's easy enough to figure out.I'd recommend this book to anyone who is wanting to learn Christian songs that aren't to easy and boring but aren't complicated enough to learn either. I can play all these songs almost on the spot but the fluidity takes a little practise on some of the arrangements such as Holy Spirit Ran Down. This is a great launch into the world of advanced fingerstyle guitar for intermediate players. Advanced guitarists can easily spice it up with adding fills and playing parts of it legato, hybrid picking parts or swapping out the easier chord shapes for others within the key.I own all the Christian tab books from this series and this one is definitely my fave of the bunch!

Acheté par curiosité, ce recueil ne m'a pas déçu. De belles mélodies bien arrangées qui font bien sonner la guitare. Il faut soigner l'interprétation de certains morceaux qu'il faut jouer sans trop rigueur rythmique. Quelques uns sont en accordage "drop D". Cela apporte de la profondeur. Niveau intermédiaire (sans grande difficulté mais pas trop simple). Quelques pièces assez courtes pour se faire plaisir rapidement. Il faut parfois "jouer du capo" pour trouver la tonalité qui nous convient. Pour le prix et même si je ne suis pas fan de toutes les pièces il en vaut largement la peine.

Good mix of songs for beginner to intermediate. Quick shipping as well.
