21103 The Delorean Time Machine Building Set

This an awesome set. I was a little concerned when I got it. I am fairly certain this set ships from Canada or something, because the graphics are slightly different fro most sets I've seen in the states, and everything is printed in English and French. As soon as I opened the box I was hooked. The quality in this set is just a little bit above everything else I've gotten from Lego. The box has flaps and opens like a briefcase so you don't destroy it while opening it. Then when I pulled out the instruction booklet its not a thin set of paper instructions, its more like a commemorative booklet with facts about the movie, as well as the story of how the creators of the set were able to make it happen. Everything about this set makes it feel like a collector's edition set. Everything so far is just the gravy though, lets get to the set. The details on this set are superb. There are no decals, all of the decal pieces have everything printed on them. It has the flux capacitor, a couple of gauges, and then the piece right on the dash with the actual dates from the first movie leaving 1985 and going back to 1958. It also comes with both of the license plates used in the three movies, I prefer the California OUTATIME plate, but it also has the orange 2015 barcoded plate that even has the state and the date on it. Both of the doors swing open, and the wheels swing down to mimic flying as displayed on the front of the box. It even has some clear pieces that act as a stand underneath it so that you can mimic hovering if you decide to display it like that. It also comes with all of the pieces necessary to make the changes that happened to the car though out the movies. I only have two tiny complaints regarding this set. The first is that the docs hair is designed in such a way that he doesn't fit in the car, and its just barely that he doesn't fit, so I have mine set up so it looks like he's getting in, but Marty does fit in the car with no problems. The other slight thing is that I would have loved to have seen Doc's dog as part of the set, but like I said these are both trivial things. The detail in the characters is fantastic, the both have two faces you can switch between smiling, and being afraid, then the other face is covered by the hair. In conclusion, if you know someone who is a fan of both Legos and the Back to the Future movies I highly recommend this set. The detail is fantastic, and you can't beat the price. The best bang for your buck that I've seen in a lego set in quiet a while.

Whoa. As if I am surprised Lego completely nailed this! I arrived home around 4:30pm EST to an Amazon box on my porch. There was snow all over the porch, but where this box was placed, it seemed to have been dusted as if the UPS man (probably some hunk, I am glad my wife wasn't home...that is how those stories go), knew there was something special in this box. This box wasn't like the truck full of boxes he delivers every day...he knew he would change a life this day, this glorious day. I picked up the box and rushed in the door. Wow. This is it. Two of my favorite things harmoniously have come together. For a 27 year old manboy, nothing else mattered, but what was about to happen. I had pizza for an early lunch earlier in the day. I removed my jacket and boots and marched straight into the bathroom. With my laptop already set up, I put on Back to the Future one. As the clocks went off and the first log of lunch dropped, I opened the box and felt like John Travolta in Pulp Fiction opening the briefcase. Was there any light glowing in the box? No, but it felt like it. Nostalgia washed over me in an awesome way. As I took out the directions I was trying to make an inventory of all of the glorious parts that made me feel like I went...wait for it...back in time to a simpler time. Cue Huey Lewis (I'm afraid you're just too darn loud!). After a good 40 minutes on the toilet (Don't worry, no hemorrhoids), I was complete. As I played with DeLorean whilst BTTF was in the background I remembered that life is really great sometimes. The best part about this, is you have parts for all three memorable DMC's in the box. A Mr. Fusion, the red walled tires from 3 with the hood mounted contraption. And there is even a hoverboard for Marty. Thank you Lego for taking one of my dreams and selling it to me. It is a wonderful piece that truly brings me joy.

Generation X throw back! Back to the Future!!! Hands down one of the best set of movies ever made. I'll never forget watching Dr. Emmett ‘Doc' Brown and Marty McFly traveling through time, riding a hover board, wild wild west, and the iconic DeLorean!!!! When I heard that Lego was going to create a DeLorean Lego I knew that my son and I were going to build this together! I made a big deal out of this, we started by watching all three movies before putting the DeLorean together! After watching all the movies it was time to sit down have have some enjoyable father and son time! In my years I've spend a lot of time building Legos but nothing beats sitting down with my son and building Lego creations together! 401 pieces! I was a surprised by how many pieces were needed to create this awesome Lego! Very happy with the instructions! This Lego was really easy to put together however I don't think son (only 8 y/o) could have finished alone. Lego recommends 10+ and I agree. After a little more then an hour we finished, Final Review: I love that with just a few changes you can change the DeLorean to match the individual movies. Well played Lego!!!! Great toy! Worth every penny. Fun project to work on on with your kids on a rainy afternoon. Generation X dad gives this toy two huge thumbs up! Generation X son also gives this toy two thumbs up!

Who doesn't love Legos. This was the perfect christmas gift for my boss. He is completely obsessed with all things back to the future. And having a gift that was a co-lab with the franchise and back to the future was a no brainer. He couldn't wait to take it home and build it. The only issue he had was that he didn't know which version he wanted to build, since this product lets you chose your favorite form of the delorean. It was fun for all ages and I know he enjoyed it.

Da ich ein großer Fan der Filme bin, kam diese Kreation sehr gelegen. Ich bin froh, dass Lego Fans die Möglichkeit gibt , eigene Ideen vorzustellen und durch das Cusco Projekt ,Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen. Zum Modell: Die Figuren sind natürlich in der typischen Legomanier gefertigt und zusammenzustecken : Beine.Rumpf und der Kopf. Die Drucke sehen alle top aus. Jeder Kopf hat 2 Gesichter Doc und Marty schauen entweder erschrocken, oder fröhlich daher. Je nachdem wie man es gerne hätte. Der Delorean ist einfach und schnell zusammen zu bauen, dank der Legotypischen Anleitung. Das Besondere hierbei ist, dass die Anleitung gebunden ist (geklebt) und einige Informationen zum Film enthält. Man kann sich beim Aufbau entscheiden, welche Filmversion man denn bauen möchte. Dafür wird auch ein Satz roter Reifen mit geliefert und einige Extrateile. Extreme Sammler müssen sich also 3 dieser Boxen holen ^^ Rundum bin ich mit dem Model sehr zufrieden- tolle idee-klasse Umsetzung-sehr wertige Verpackung und Anleitung. Auf gehts....zurück auf den Spielteppich....

LEGOが大好きな息子。主人の影響もありバックトゥザフューチャーにどハマり中、３か月くらい前に このLEGOを発見！通知表が良かったので ご褒美でおばあちゃんに買ってもらう事に。ですが、関東住みの私達 おばあちゃんは関西。急遽 行ける日が3日間だけ出来たので おばあちゃんが直接プレゼントしたいとの願いもあり ダメ元で 早めにして下さいと ショップにメッセージした所、なんと注文1時間後に発送したとの連絡😳私達と同時にプレゼントが届き、ラッピングまで丁寧にして下さり感謝感謝の気持ちいっぱいです😊もちろん 息子も大喜びで 黙々と作り 毎日持ち歩いて離しません。本当にカッコ良く パート1.2.3と変えられるのも 凄く素敵です！少しお値段しましたが、良いショップで良い買い物でき、大満足です。ありがとうございました💕

piccolo set ma di grande fascino,la DeLorean è realizzata in modo egregio,non eccelso però (la ecto-1 è mooooolto più bella) ma comunque resta un set che ogni amante della serie deve avere. Carine le minifig di Marty e Doc,simpatica l'idea delle 3 versioni della DeLorean,in base ai capitoli della trilogia. Per coloro che investono in Lego,set che si è già rivalutato parecchio ed è destinato a salire nelle quotazioni

Se trató de un regalo para nostálgicos de las películas. Es realmente fantástico verlo montado, tanto que está en una vitrina montado y es una chulada de Lego. A los de mi quinta les encantará.

It arrived earlier than expected, had to wait around for a storm to build it (for ambiance), but once this amazing machine was built, I was able to travel between 1985, 1955 and 1885, all with the interchangeable LEGO parts. Of course, coming back to 2015 was a sore disappointment because I lost my transparent tie somewhere.
