HIVIZHIVIZ® CompSight® Interchangeable Shotgun Sight

Good sight. Because it is small and has the hold-down screw more or less in the middle of the sight it mounts somewhat more securely than sights that mount on the end. The mounting screw also being in the center of a small sight allows for mounting it slightly right or left so it is basically an adjustable sight. I have two Mossberg 500 barrels that require this, one is drilled off-center by Mossberg and the other is an 18.5" short barrel from Mossberg that is drilled off center and also somehow shoots radically left (this one I have the sight mounted at about 30 degrees, looks bad but now is possible to actually use the sight). I used epoxy to bed both sights in. Using the sights as adjustable is a bit of a hassle as it is hard to get the light tube in and out to try it at one angle, change it and retry to get it right; however on the bright side, the sight really retains the light tube. The sight is also quite low so it does not alter the pattern up and down like the massive floppy junk clip-on sights do. The only downside to the sight is that the light tube is short so can only gather so much light, however if it were long you would not be able to get much adjustment from it.

Don't let the smallness fool you. The green tube is very bright and works great in low light conditions. Much better than the stock front sight. Read the directions and take your time but this sight is easy to install. I've tried Truglo and others but this is my favorite front shotgun sight.

I was a bit hesitant to order this as several of the reviews mentioned it being too small. As far as functionality is concerned, this is a great sight for my trap gun. It was a bit difficult to get the pre-installed litepipe out, but I eventually figured out that you need to insert the supplied key over the little locking tooth to allow the pipe to slip out. I have this on my CZ Redhead Deluxe and it is working out great. I did put some blue loctite on the screw during installation. Would rate 5 stars if changing the litepipe was easier.

Fit perfect on my son’s Mossberg super bantam .20 gauge. First time he used it shooting trap, he couldn’t believe how much easier it was to acquire the clay bird.

Bought this to replace a stock shotgun fiber sight. I know that this is supposed to be used for dusk, dawn, and night time, but it actually is way brighter in the daylight than what came w/the gun. The green shows up a lot better than the orange. I'm really glad I bought this. It's worth the extra money. It really does stand out when you're bearing down on game to shoot.

for some reason I thought that a fiber optic front sight with tritium would be just the ticket for my 1100. the ability to actually see your own sight in darkness sounded like a good idea. well, this "sight" will not let you do that. it`s an invisi-sight. I`ve looked the package over and can`t find an expiration date, so I decide to sent it back. nope, can`t send it back to the people who sent it to me. If I cant send it back, how do I get my $38 back? I`ve used HiVis products in the past and been satisfied, but this one is just a dud. It cost more than other FO sights and delivers nothing. EDITED. the shipper was good enough to refund the money, even tho the sight was not returnable, so I can thank them for that.

That Tritium sight can be installed on several makes and models shotguns. Very bright day and night.
