These are grrrrreat! 5.5mm x 2.1mm AND 2.5mm, 12 volt, 2 amps
This is the third set of them I've purchased. These work on most everything that requires 12 volts and higher amperage as well as those that require little amperage. And, the best part is that the connector really does fit both 2.1mm and 2.5mm center pin DC jacks. One power supply to rule them all...I've not found any others like it. Voltage is really 12volts and I've not run across anything that it can't supply enough current to.

Works Great with TIVO Romio 4 tuner DVR
Great power supply replacement for a 4 tuner TIVO Romio. My TIVO works great with it. Connector fits, and it runs barely warm to the touch. Great replacement.

Perfect Replacement
I've had a neck massager for a number of years and my dog eat the end off that I plugged the DC converter into. Since then, I misplaced the converter. Luckily I was able to figure out that it was a 24 watt, 12 volt 2 amp. The little wire on end providing the female connection was easy to insert the stripped wire ends and tighten. I wrapped silicone tape around that adapter and up the cord to provide some strength. Plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Cord length is great too.

Great, so far
So far, so good! I've only been using the power supplies for part of a week, but they seem great. There weren't many reviews for the power supplies, but the company also sells LED products with tons of great reviews, and the 12 volt 2 amp power supply is what powers them. The power supplies are notably heavier than the power supplies that they are replacing, so they seem overbuilt (which great for longevity). The UL certification was a big reason I bought these and returned some non-certified power supplies. I'll adjust the review if I have trouble with them, but I would buy these again over a cheaper unit with more reviews simply because of the quality and assurance that they have passed rigorous testing and won't set the house on fire while I'm asleep. As a bonus, the power supplies come with an adapter tip if you want to easily wire a 12 volt DC device to the top that fits into the power supply. I probably won't use the tips, but it is a really nice extra.

Works great so far...
I got this for an LED light that I use. I really like that the cord is 6ft. There are longer ones out there but 6ft suits me fine. I've been using it for probably only a week but I've had zero problems with it; no sparking, shorting, or flickering when it moves etc. None of that. I write reviews here all the time, so I'll update if that ever changes (like even years from now). I took off a star because the actual cord looks a little cheap to me. I know i'll be moving it around a lot (i don't keep it plugged in all the time), so I wonder how long it will last. Even considering this, it still seems good for the price range cause there are some REALLY crappy adapters out there. Like I said, this one hasn't sparked a single time I've plugged it in and I can tell it's supplying even power because the light doesn't get all hot after it's been on for a while. BTW I've bought 2 different adapters over the years for this light and even the expensive well-made one only lasted for about 2 yrs (might be because i often used it with an extension cord, which often made it spark when plugged in--plus it always warmed up). To avoid problems with this (or really any) adapter make sure you plug it into a surge protected outlet! You might get sparking if you don't and I've noticed it can also shorten the life of both the adapter and the device it's powering. An extension cord doesn't count unless it says it's surge protected (i don't seem to have any that say so). A power strip will usually be surge protected so maybe try that (it's what I use). There are long corded power strips out there. UPDATE (3/22/20): been using it for almost a year and a half now and it's still working great despite the fact that it's constantly getting trampled and tangled on my floor (what can I say? I'm a slob). Definitely recommend this brand! UPDATE: (09/08/21): I don't even know if they're still selling it anymore, but mine is still getting plenty of action and it still hasn't shown any signs of breaking down. UPDATE: (1/08/23): It finally broke (the wires finally tore off where they connect to the box). So it lasted about 4 yrs. That doesn't sound like very long, but trust me: I was expecting the wires to wear out way sooner than this considering how much i abused this thing! It's good enough for me to buy a new one even though it's now $5 more.

Works as expected and it was shipped very fast
I got an LCD controller and it didn't come with a power adapter. This was listed as recommended, so I got this and it works great.

The Laws Of Physics Cannot Be Denied -- Bigger Wire Equals More Juice
This is an excellent adapter that I am using to power a small DC motor that turns the crank handle on my flour sifter/heat gun coffee roaster. I always thought, "adapters are adapters", and I had been using one that was sitting in my junk drawer, but it seemed a little underpowered at times and I wondered if it was actually pulling 12V. I cut it open, and seeing the wispy wires made me think I wasn't getting 12V, so I specifically looked for an adapter with larger gauge wiring. Man, oh man! Was I ever right about that! I haven't checked this with a voltmeter, but I really don't need to because it is kicking out a lot more power now. The motor used to stall on the occasional stuck bean with the old adapter, but now it plows right through with extreme prejudice. Highly recommended.
