Solid wood good craftsmanship
Perfect for making sharp edges and curves. I will be using it for all my sewing projects. Currently making masks for family and friends. Can be used with or without steam iron. Presses out clipped curves prior to construction and flattens out seams for top stitching. The curves can be molded and the shape holds beautifully. Good for “rolling under” lining before edge stitching. I should have gotten one of these a long time ago. It makes the finished project look so professional. So glad it is available on Amazon. If you are on the edge about making this purchase, get it. You won’t regret. The wood is a bit rough especially on the curved edges. A light sanding will fix it.

Total game changer for flat felled seams
High quality red oak, smooth all over and plugged nicely over all the screws. Really beautiful product and worth the money. Oak will not dent as easily as pine if it is accidentally dropped. It has been a great game changer for this beginner sewist for flat felled crotch and shoulder seams. Helps to make collar stands and collars much easier for me as well. Love it!

Beautiful quality product
This tailor’s board is quality and made by a family owned company. It will take your sewing up a notch or two and last forever. See my photo of me using it to press the darts of bowl cozies I’m making for Christmas gifts. I pressed the first one on an ironing board, then I bought this tailor’s board. WOW. What a difference! Love love love this purchase!

Lots of curves. Very sturdy with a tailors anvil point as well. Great for collars, curved seams, sleeves

Great craftsmanship, just needs a few touch ups!
Exactly what I needed for some precision pressing! It arrived with a thin layer of remnant sawdust (to be expected) so just be sure to wipe down with a damp cloth before use so you don’t stain your sewing project. I also found the grain could be smoother in spots, so I used a fine sand paper to buff out a few rough spots & now it’s perfect!

Wow, it's a game changer.
This has changed the game for me, and makes dressmaking/tailoring so much easier when shaping with the iron, especially all of the curved princess seams, or any seam and sharp corners. It is solid, high-quality piece of craftsmanship that I have been using for many months now and could not be happier.

Thank you Jacksons Woodwork for my tailor board. I enjoy using it. The one I recieved wasn't 100% smooth. It had a quite a few rough spots. However, I didn't mind sanding it a bit with sandpaper. I accept that can be the nature of natural wood. At least it's hard wood.

Learning to use this product for pressing a variety of seams is the trickiest part. Operator, not product problem.
