works great for keeping the pool filled
I used this to replace another timer that I was using to help automatically keep the water level in the swimming pool filled. I was dissappointed that the other valve had given out so easily. I felt this timer was a little more than I needed, but it does the job well. It also seems more durable and I have not seen any sign that it will fail any time soon. I didn't give it 5 stars because programming it can be a little confusing. But it works well and before I bought it I did a lot of research and this was the best thing I could find for my particular application.

unreliable
I have 3 of these controlling the irrigation in my back yard. I have had to replace 2 in the first 12 months and the third failed today. The concept is a great idea however they have proven unreliable consistently. The first 2 that failed i returned to DIG corp and the fixed or replaced them. The customer service was great, however I hate digging up the valve box every year. Im finished with this product and looking to find an alternative. PS I also have high water pressure at 80psi.

Great battery-operated water timer
This is the best timer I have found since my favorite timer was no longer available. The DIG RBC_7000 is easy to program and it allows great flexibility as to frequency of operation. In addition, you can easily water manually for a preset length of time. Best of all they promise that 2 AA alkaline batteries will last up to 3 years. This is similar to my previous timer and a great benefit. Of course I do not yet know if this is true, but I have hope.

I like it
Good product. Does what it says it will do and solved my irrigation problem. No need for long runs of PVC to a central valve system. Install it wherever you have access to water. Not cheap as irrigation valves go but worth it. I bought two more.

There all basically toe same
Nothing to get excited about about the same quality as other less expensive models. Bought 2 one leaked when in closed position took 2 e-mails to finally get a refund.

It’s cheap for a reason
Stared leaking after only a couple of uses. I have this connected to a garden spigot and the valve doesn’t stop water from getting past it to the sprinkler heads.

Valve won't open after only three months
Had this for three months and the timer works but the valve no longer opens. Amazon won't take it back after 30 days.
