We got no troubles, life is just bubbles!! A few months ago I picked up this SeaMonkey kit. They took about 2 weeks to become visible, but have been incredibly relaxing to watch swim about! It’s recommended you put a small light on the tank to keep the water a bit warmer and promote algae growth, which they eat. I picked up an old desk lamp for $2 at a thrift store that works great. Once algae is established, you don’t really need to feed except maybe once a month. The kit comes with paperwork from the manufacturer that allows you to order additional accessories. Great for classrooms, college dorms or your office!

Package was intact when delivered however nothing hatched. The first packet was wet and after adding the 2nd 24 hours later still nothing hatched. 4 days later still nothing. Defective

These were so good and fun they lasted a long time.

Edit: so I left the tank for a few more days and there is in fact life! I am changing my review to 5 stars and my personal patients review to a zero lol zero sea-monkeys... I followed the directions to the letter and after a full week, still no sea-monkeys. Super disappointed and my kids are sad too. do not recommend

Hatched the eggs two days ago, I don't see anything. We will see in 3 days. You gotta buy food separately if you want them to live. The lil packet it comes with will probably last a month.

My 8 yr old daughter wanted this. I wasn’t sure it would be worth the money. But I was pleasantly surprised. She played with it a lot and so did her friends. It’s worth it.

Bought them and was disappointed that after 2 days the 7 that hatched all seemed to have died. We left it alone and a few days later there were 2... then 4... nine days later and I just counted 21! Four are huge! If yours die right away, don't just give up. Poke any eggs along the surface back down and wait! My kids love them. If you have issues ordering more food. Yeast and Spirulina can be used :) They love algae
