Before purchasing this book, I read parts in a store and was impressed. Now that I have had the opportunity to read the whole book, I found the jokes on the whole to be original and first rate. I liked the background on the tellers which allowed for a better understanding of how the particular joke developed. I would recommend a leisurely journey through the book, enjoying each joke and sharing it with someone who would also appreciate it,

Jews are as funny as all humans with their own twist

Get a bunch of old people together, in this case Jewish and have them relate their favorite joke. Some are corny, some are off color, some are irreverent and all are funny. You will read this book and have material for the next ten parties you attend. Anyone who says old people aren’t entertaining needs this book to prove themself wrong.

First of all, kudos to the seller. The used book arrived quickly and as described in very decent condition. I'm glad I bought a used copy, because the jokes, for the most part, were not that funny, and a few were in very poor taste. I grew up with Yiddish humor, so I should not have been surprised; but I thought a collection in a book would be curated to include more funny jokes. Anyway, I read through the jokes, had a few chuckles, then donated the book.

Laughter is the spice of living a great life and staying healthy. My husband, who is Jewish and I went on vacation with some of his cousins and his sister and her husband. Every day, at breakfast and during the day we would pull this book out and we'd randomly ope n to a page and read a joke. We would roar with laughter and disrupt the whole restaurant. We did this every day and had the best time together. We gifted each with this book and they took it home with them to share the laughter and the love. Wonderful book that has given much joy and love.
