I wanted to help my sister out and get an old iPad of hers working again to get pics off it. She lost her charger and the nearest place selling one was a 3 hr round trip. Amazon carried this, along with a flash charger that I could connect to this (and which will come in handy later for any Apple users that need a charger while visiting me). This connector and that flash charger combined to cost less than I was quoted at a tech store to buy only an old school charger. It took hours to charge the iPad (it's been around kids so it's smashed up a bit--let's just say pieces were held together with duct tape) but I got it charged to 100% and it works just fine for her to get what she needs off the old iPad. Worth the inexpensive cost to see her happy! And now I have matching chargers for Apple users (all my android chargers are black). Win win.

I was skeptical about buying this after reading the reviews but this is fully functional with everything I’ve hooked up to connected to my 7th gen iPod classic! It connects to my Dodge Chargers system immediately. Connects to iTunes & charges on both my windows pc & MacBook Pro. It allows me to load my music and audiobooks also! As far as I’m concerned this is a no-brainer purchase if you own an iPod classic & are still addicted to that click wheel feeling!

It's working good so far.

Did not work!!! 30 pin did not securely fit into device, nor did plug security fit into it. The connection was loose. Had to keep wiggling cord around to get a charge. Did not serve its purpose at all!

Small, lightweight, easy to carry and easy to use this converter does the job. Great to get in on the faster chargers since the iPods were born. As a musician I need a fast charge right away given the age of my batteries and this does the trick. Worth the money and durable to last. Get it.

I got this as an adapter to a first generation Ipad to download pictures. It works to let the Ipad charge, but will not let Pictures download.

Audio/video not work at all. Returned

I was a bit leery about this adapter. However, after trying it out it seems to be decent in quality. Charging works and also allows connecting to iTunes for library sync.
