OEM Surly rear hub bearings
I just used these to replace the worn out bearings in my Surly New rear (fixed/free) 120mm OLD hub. On average, I get around 8000-10000 mi out of these bearings before they wear out and I'm on to my 3rd set of bearings now. They slide in really easily, work well, and they're perfectly priced for what you get. They're not the smoothest bearings in the world when compared to Phil Wood or ceramic bearings, but for the price they can't be beaten. If I had a single complaint about these, it would be that in addition to making it blue on the inside, they could write "faces inwards" on the plastic. However, this is a very, very minor point given the product description is pretty explicit about which side faces out, and when you're removing the old bearings you can easily see that the black plastic faces outwards.Love it. Would absolutely buy them again.

Direct replacement for Surly New Hub
Used on Surly “new” hub. As expected, it was a bit of a bugger to press in. If you have a “new” hub, check out the “ultra new hub” upgrade kit, which includes a shoulder on the axle.
