Eight Below

Eight Below (Widescreen Edition) 1080Eight Below was a wonderful story of the friendship between eight sled dogs and their guide Jerry. Jerry had to leave them behind due to an accident and there was no room for the dogs, but Jerry told the dogs he would be back for them. The sled dogs would have to learn to survive together until Jerry got back, Jerry would not stop at nothing in rescuing the sled dogs , driven by unwavering bonds of friendship enormous belief in one another and tremendous courage, Jerry and the dogs make an incredible journey to reunite.

Great movie all around

Fabulous move. Exciting, educational within story, touching humsn and animsl relationships. So many life lessons. Purchased.

This film about dogs’ loyalty to their owner is amazing. I love the film, pure and simple. And I can recommend it to others as well.

In the Antarctic, after an expedition with Dr. Davis McClaren, the sled dog trainer Jerry Shepherd has to leave the polar base with his colleagues due to the proximity of a heavy snow storm. He ties his dogs to be rescued after, but the mission is called-off and the dogs are left alone at their own fortune. For six months, Jerry tries to find a sponsor for a rescue mission while his dogs fight for survival. Excellent purchase.

The film was not region two so could not be watched on my device. Obviously I didn't realise this before I purchased it.so disappointed.I have since the purchased the film fro hmv for 4.oo and it's brand-new. In future I will look for region compatibility but I think all dvds and sellers should clearly say what region so buyers can check before they buy.You live n learn.

An epic tale of what lengths a guy would do to get back to his group after a split of bad weather. The late Paul Walker plays another brilliant part in this and I love it. Shows good and bad things throughout the film, how a pack of 'dogs' survive.. Based on a true story, I love it. Recommended :) Tissues optional extra if you think you might need them!

A sad and happy story based on a 1958 Japanese dog team that was left behind in Antarctica,have some tissues handy.The Blu Ray quality is very good.
