Perfect for fpv motor wires makes builds look great

First I was shocked at how thin the sleeve was when it's relaxed so I didn't think it would expand much. However, upon pressing it in to expand the sleeve, I was thoroughly impressed. This sleeve would allow 4-5 Cat cables to fit as I slid 3 in easily prior to terminating the RJ45 ends. Then when relaxes the cables look clean and the sleeve shrank to envelope the wires a little better. The sleeve is also extremely easy to work with as a pair of standard scissors was able to cut them to my desired length. I highly recommend cutting the sleeve a longer than your cable because the ends will flair and unbraid a bit so you'll need to trim them after the sleeve relaxes to it's permanent state. As for durability and protection, I ran a box cutter along cable to try to strip it and test the overall wear of the sleeve. There were no marks, signs of cutting, or damage to the sleeve so I wouldn't be worried if my dog accidentally bit the cable sleeve. Thus this thing is strong, durable, and protects your wires without the fear of having to re-cable in the future. The black and purple colors is stylish and functions well with the overall design of my desk so I'll be keeping this. If you have any USBs or terminated wires you want to put in this sleeve. I'd recommend getting something larger than the 8mm version. This could fit the metal end of a USB, but not the entire head of the USB so 10 or 12mm would 100% fit wires that are already terminated.

The quality of this braided sleeve is actually quite good with a tight weave that feels durable and would offer solid protection against abrasion and wear. Some of these other reviews are comical, people didn't read the decription fully which is a hard lesson I've learned in the past and just insta ordered these. Functionally it does what it is meant to do but an important detail not in the upper part of the listing is that these are NOT split, meaning you can only use it if you're working with loose wires or things without connectors attached (unless you don't mind splicing). Like another reviewer on this listing, I ordered these for making my surround sound speaker wires look a little fancier. As cord protection it seems excellent but this is more about protecting from scuffs and dressing cables than actual cable organization.

Well, this is not what I expected. The images showed the sleeve going over an HDMI cable... which is something you are not likely to do with this product for several reasons. First, the sleeve is extremely narrow so it won't even fit over the HDMI end of the cable, so you can't slide it on from either end of the cable. Second, normally cable sleeves are open on the sides so that you can roll the cable into the sleeve, this isn't. Because of that you are unable to use this on standard household cables like HDMI / video cables and some power cables. The colors of the cable are nice and the current price of $10 is affordable. I don't see how this will protect your cords, your pets, or your cords from your pets, its just too thin. I'd say this cable is more for color coding than it is for protection. I strongly feel like the seller needs to reconsider the images they use for this product to give people a better idea of what its meant to be used for. As it is, I feel the pictures are misleading and seem likely to cause problems
