I’ve been using Oxbow Western Timothy Hay for my rabbits, and the quality has been consistently excellent. The hay is fresh, green, and smells clean—not dusty or stale like some other brands I’ve tried. You can tell it’s been properly harvested and stored. My rabbits took to it immediately, and they go through it quickly, which tells me it’s palatable and not overly coarse. The strands are a good mix of long and medium pieces, which helps keep them engaged while also supporting digestion and dental health. I also appreciate that this hay is high in fiber and specifically formulated for small pets like rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. It doesn’t aggravate allergies as much as some cheaper hays, and there’s very little waste at the bottom of the bag. The 40 oz bag is a good size for regular use, and while it costs a bit more than generic hay, the quality difference is absolutely worth it. This is one of the few brands I trust to be consistent.

My bunnies get excited every time I fill their feeder with this hay. Great quality and totally worth the price for happy, healthy rabbits.

This brand has been a staple in our home since we got our Guinea pig 🐹 3 years ago. It has been an affordable brand that has always had quality ingredients. We started with this brands Timothy hay and we tried a couple other brands over the years but I kept coming back to this one because it always seemed like our Guinea pig liked this brand the best. Our piggy get super excited when we refill her hay and she popcorns in her cage as we’re refilling it. It’s like she’s saying, “yay, more of my favorite food!” 😂 The packaging has always been good and her teeth have always been great (no issues with them becoming overgrown; thank goodness 🙏). Her teeth are also clean and the texture of the hay has always been consistent. She is also not “picky” in terms of types of food given. So long as it’s safe for her to eat, she eats it all 😂Overall, this is some of the best hay that I have found for our little piggy.

I used to buy Kaytee hay, but I'm so glad I switched. Oxbow’s quality is much better, and there isn't a bunch of dust in the bottom of the bag like Kaytee. It also has a nice mix of flower heads. My bunny Loki especially loves those pieces, so I always try to pick a bag that has plenty in it.

My piggies love the oxbow pellet/hay foods. I give them oxbow pellets/hay along with veggies and fruit as a standard diet in my enclosure. The price point is great. The food/hay arrives in good shape never opened or spoiled. Highly recommend these shops and sellers.

I have always received really good quality hey from this company, intell this time, I got a poor quality batch from them as it didn't smell the same and the cut was chopped up more then I have ever seen. Bunny didn't enjoy as well. This was a one time deal I hope. So I will order agian and hopes of receiving what I always have, good quality Hey.

A vet told me about this timothy hay for my rabbit. I was told it was a better quality & it is. My rabbit eats this & seems to like it better than what I use to purchase. It’s good value for your money it even appears better than most timothy hay I have purchased in the pass. I’m glad my bunny likes this.

Although I'm a fan of Oxbow.. my guineas like to eat a different brand that comes with longer strands. I have tried 2 or 3 different ones from Oxbow and this is all cut short. The longer strands really make them happy so I will only purchase these as backup from now on. It is what the box says. As usual Oxbow is reliable..

When I brought this my rabbit started eating it, she is a picky eater and she liked it a lot I suggest every one , especially rabbit owners to buy it, your rabbit with like it a lot, good smell and very useful and the quality is very good.
