Griot's Garage Fine Glass Polish, Car Window, Windshield Polishing Cleaner for Automotive and Home, Removes Stains and Water Spots, 11017, 16 oz

This product is simply awesome. The glass polish compound is very effective, was very easy to use, and the instructions were also extremely clear unlike a few other products of a similar nature I have attempted to use in the past. With a few dabs per window on my truck, I was able to fully clear all the signs of hard water deposits, stains, sap residue, and dirt debris which had accumulated on the surface. With the size of the bottle I purchased, I will likely be using this product for years to come.

About a year ago I decided to paint correct and apply Adams Advanced Graphene Coating (great stuff!) to my 18 month old Chevy Colorado. I was never happy with how my windshield appeared straight from the dealer. It always seemed to have a haze, or oily residue and I swear when it was foggy you could see the suction cup marks on either side where it was held by robot during installation!! Ordered this stuff and Griot's Garage 10614 6" Glass Polishing Pad (Set of 3) for use with my Ryobi cordless orbiting polisher. Now it is a LOT of prep if you're going to do all windows because you MUST tape off everything that is not glass. Glass is HARD so whatever will polish it WILL scratch the hell out of trim, paint and plastic. I tested on rear window behind driver in case it clouded the glass but it worked GREAT. I'm telling you I've never seen such clear glass. Took whatever film was on windows right off!! I used to hate cleaning glass because it always streaked - not anymore!! Spray on, wipe off, crystal clear. Applied Ceramic coating on glass after carefully removing all remaining polish and over a year later the water STILL beads up and runs off like it has permanent Rain-X on it. I use it with a rayon glass pad and a forced DA polisher. I worked on my car windshield for 2 hrs, 3 complete coatings and it did a good job on water spots but didn’t do anything noticeable to the light scratches or sand specks you only see when the sun hits it just right. When you put the polish on and buff it in it does take a good textured microfiber towel and cleaner to make it look good again as the polish will get pressed into every chip and sand speck, making it look horrible until cleaned.

Look no further than Griot's Garage 11017 Fine Glass Polish. My wife and I have purchased and tested four (4) such products in the past month, and Fine Glass Polish cleans just as effectively as the old "Glass Wax". Fine Glass Polish dries to a cloudy haze which is to be buffed off, but it does not generate copious amounts of airborne pink-white dust like other similar products we tested. The haze from Griot's Garage Fine Glass Polish tends to stick to the soft wiping cloth rather than becoming airborne and landing all over the window sills or automobile dashboards. Fine Glass Polish is kind of spendy, but what isn't these days? If you're tired of streaky windows and liquid glass cleaners that just don't deliver like they used to, Griot's Garage 11017 Fine Glass Polish is what you need.

Excellent water spot remover and window restorer. It doesnt scratch the window and is very subtle. It might be able to remove swirl marks but Im still experimenting

I am sure that this glass polish works great but I returned it after reading the instructions as it appears that it will be very time consuming to apply. You need to tape off all surrounding rubber trims on your windshield prior to applying this.

This is a good glass polish,,,,,but not really designed for scratch removal. Use the proper pads and an orbital polisher on medium-high setting, and you will have good results.

Just buy it, this stuff combined with the glass polishing pad, you’ll strip clean any glass you come in to contact with. I’d definitely repurchase both items again.

Seems more as a compound , rough polish .. in my case : had some fine scratches remaining ...

Worked fine for me. Used it to buff discoloration off a refinished bathtub.

It doesn’t removed small scratches, it’s just a little improvement versus invisible glass cleaner. Not impressive as mentioned on the product reviews.
