Ford fuel filter, can is painted black
It's a standard Ford fuel filter used on full size trucks in the 90s. Fits the fuel lines as expected. The vendor's picture shows an unpainted filter can, which is like OE. What was in the box was a filter can painted black. The paint makes it a challenge to install - the spring steel wrap-around retainer clips are stout and a good amount of persuasion is needed to coax the painted filter into it's new home. The OE galvanized style just slides right in. This order of 2 filters were shipped in a plastic bag with no padding - luckily none of the tubes were bent. These should have been sent in a box with a few air pillows inside.

Good fit.
Used on a 1994 f150. Much easier to install and remove than the off brand cheaper filters. Most the cheaper filters are difficult to remove from fuel lines, I wasted enough time with cheaper ones I will buy Fram for next one.

the filter was easy change once I got a special tool. It is install like shark bite plumbing. For my Escape it was 5min. and saved half hour charge at any garage. My son is a mechanic and said it would be easy but I had to buy a $7 tool at Canadian tire, or here on Amazon.
