One of the best mineral profiles in blackstrap. I am only sorry they have such puny sized bottles. I used to ge it by the gallon. I use it often in the evening if I want a hot drink. Just milk and blackstrap - very satisfying,

My husband wanted to try it. He said it tastes good, takes a teaspoon. And definitely worth the price because we can't find it in stores.

Wife loves this stuff. She puts it in her tea. My only complaint is it makes a mess around the top from pouring it. Or maybe it's just her? Nasty to me, so i use honey instead.

I just got my purchase of this molasses and it came with broken cap and broken seal. Now I’m not able to use it. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

We have been eating too many snacks and sweets, so I am reviving some of my older recipes as we try to reduce sugar and fat in our diet, and blackstrap molasses keeps showing up as the "sweet" ingredient. I have been low on iron, and am looking to eat more foods with high iron to bring my body's reserves in my bones back up to where they should be (preventing osteoporosis) as well. My parents used to use this instead of sugar in everything. It both has more nutrients than sugar - 1 Tablespoon has 20% of the daily requirement for iron 😉- but also has a more complex flavor with a nice bitterness. My only "hmm", is that this is very thin, syrupy - not the thick, treacly consistency I am used to. To the good, it comes out of the bottle easily, but it is messing with my liquid proportions in the recipes, so I wish it was thicker. It will not go to waste though, I can adjust! And it is wonderful in baked beans, cornbread, whole wheat bread, chili, beef stew... just a spoonful as seasoning adds a wonderful touch to all those cozy warm dishes we cook fall and winter. My favorite though, is to cream butter and molasses into a spread for smearing on biscuits instead of jam, mmmm. An a bit healthier 😁. Will be keeping a bottle in the pantry.
