Quality product and quality water [UPDATED]
This is an honest opinion regarding the Osmio Zero System. I have this item already for a month now and it is amazing and super easy to use. I have given 5 stars because you cannot fault it and the water quality is impressive. In a nutshell, my tap water reading is higher than 400 ppm and with this system I achieve 50 ppm of drinkable water. I’ve purchased this item because I was tired of buying bottled water and the waste of plastic that this action makes. Set up is very easy and you just need to follow the instructions that are available on an online pdf. There is a sticker on the machine with a QR code to go directly there, so no fuss. The good thing about this approach is that you can have an updated document whenever more instructions are included in there. Pros: - Very easy to set up a no installation required at all. Everything is already set up so basically is a “plug and play” system. You just need to fill the pitcher and follow the instructions for first time use which is basically a full cycle to clean the system. - Low waste which is a big plus when comparing with other RO systems. For every 5 litres of water there is 1 litre of waste, so you have 4 litres of drinkable water. In comparison, on traditional RO systems for every 5 litres of water more than half are wasted, so approximately you have 2 litres of drinkable water. - Works as well as those more expensive under sink RO systems with a tank. It reduces my tap water ppm from +400ppm to 50ppm. This already takes into account the re-mineralization that is part of the last step of this system. - Different water temperatures, for normal drinking water temperature, warm water, hot water and boiling water. The only slightly cons that I’ve notice here, is that if you use any of the 3 hot water settings and if afterwards you request normal temperature, the first X ml of water will have a slightly higher temperature than the normal temperature… Cons: - So far the only thing is the hassle of filling the pitcher/tank with water whenever it reaches the 1L level (Attention: As said in the instructions manual you should get rid of that last 1L water or use it for watering the plants. This is the waste water which will have a very high ppm so you should never pour fresh water over this as it will clog the system. Follow the instructions and you shouldn’t have any issue). Even though, it would be worse if I had to install a traditional RO system. Filling the tank basically takes 2 minutes which is the time to pour the waste water and refill with fresh water from the tap. I cannot provide feedback so far on the duration of the filters and how costly it can be to replace them as I don’t know at the moment how long it will take for the system to request for maintenance. On the first week of use I noticed just a slightly odd taste of the water, but this has gone now. I imagine this is because the system was new which is ok. Let me also take the opportunity to refer that the Aftercare team is super quick to reply back to any question you have and they even send you videos with the step by step guide to of any type of maintenance you need to do with the system. You can speak to them on Whatsapp which makes everything so much easier. This product is definitively a no-brainer if you want to drink quality water, you want to reduce waste and your carbon footprint. I did a lot of research on different RO systems before buying this one and just the fact that this one does not require any installation is definitively a big plus. I am very happy with my purchase and will recommend it to anyone. Just follow the instructions on how to use the machine and you shouldn’t have any issues with this. UPDATE 23/11/2022 I've been using this system for 3 years now. Had no issues whatsoever and I use it a lot: drinking water, cooking water and also for the water changes on my 2 aquariums. Filters last between 6-8 months. I have replaced already the filters 6 times since I bought the machine. Sometimes I replace them before the system notifying me to do it because I notice that the filtering takes a lot of time. When it starts to take more than 30 minutes to filter 1L of water I replace the filter.

it's a toy
I bought it in feb 2019. It has worked for 3 months and then started to take longer to filter, then flashing and not working anymore (to fix it you have to unpluging it eveytime). Now it pours 50 cl of water and then filters for 30 min making a lot of noise. I don't know what to do except through it away for the poor quality offered. It's just a joke. I can work with the fact that you have to refill the water twice a day for a family of 4 but I can't pass on the failure of the system. I contacted the company, let's see what would be their solution....

Extremely effective system, highly recommended.
The Osmio Zero System certainly does what it says. The water in our area is hard and the limescale is obvious to see and taste. Not to mention the things we cannot taste. Osmio zero made an immediate change. Provides clean, tasteless clear water. You certainly notice the difference when drinking a cup of tea, and no more mild stomach upsets. The dispensing of the water is simple and straightforward. Just like a coffee machine. The fact that you can get hot, cold and lukewarm water was the main selling point for me. It’s easy to refill pitcher and the system is simple to operate. If the price was 100 pounds less it would be perfect. Still highly recommended.

It’s brilliant.
I’m really happy with this product, initially I gave it 4 stars, now changed to 5 after using for a week. It talks about flushing 5l water through it before starting, which I did, but the first glass of water each morning tasted slightly odd, however after a week, every glass tastes perfect and measuring with a TDS meter, it’s perfect at 50 (the water remineralises so will never be zero). As a side note, I called the manufacturer about this issue and they were really helpful and clearly knowledgable about their product. Operationally, it couldn’t be easier, and I really appreciate when it stops, it stops...without any drips after. The water tastes fantastic, and I enjoy giving my guests some tap water to compare...my tap water really tastes like water from a swimming pool in comparison. The filtering process is a little slow, but I don’t find this a problem, you can easily make 4 or 5 x cups of tea before it needs to filter more from the reservoir. I find it perfect for using with ground coffee with instant 85c hot water, and my tea has never looked so clear with the 100c boiling water. I literally haven’t used my kettle since. I would have given 5 stars, only it comes with a big silver sticker on the top, with the instructions, I peeled this off which left a tonne of glue on top. When I tried to clean this off with a standard kitchen cleaner, the bloody paint came off and ruined the look of it...so a word of caution, clean only with water, and probably leave that sticker on! Overall though, I highly recommend this product to anyone who cares what they put in their body, and indeed, I liked it so much I bought a couple for the office, so everyone can enjoy this delicious water!

Osmio water filter / review - 5-star water filter. - Excellent water quality - Super easy to use
Osmio water filter / review - 5-star water filter. - Excellent water quality - Super easy to use I needed a more user-friendy upgrade to my £300 Berkey water filter - the replacement water filters wouldn't prime / reload. At £399, the Osmio was in my price range. And super easy to use. There is no user guide included or needed, just a 3-stage picture on the front of the filter. Open the back of the filter, change the cartridges, if 6 months old, and fill with water. The dial is very simple to use. Select different temperature water - cold, or depending on your drinks - milk, coffee or tea. And the water quality is excellent. I've tasted different quality water across the world. Helsinki is my no. 1 choice for public drinking water, unfiltered, straight from the tap. I still recommend viewing a 2 min youtube on the product, just to check which temperature water to select for your different drinks. And also to watch out, not to drink the end of the water, when it's filtering. That's it. Buy it! Especially if the price comes down in a special offer.

It is very prone to failure, and it is impossible to turn on the machine for self-inspection.
There is no water in the case of sudden power-on, so I thought I needed to change the filter element, so I bought a new filter element, and after it was installed, there was still no water, so I was ready to turn on the machine, but I still couldn't open it after all the screws were removed. I had to tear apart the shell and found that there were many hidden screws in it. It turned out that it was designed to fail and I couldn't simply check it myself. Such an expensive machine can only pray for God not to fail because once it fails, you can only throw it away.

Water does not taste so good
After using this for two weeks the water does not taste so nice. I’m thinking that the filters have been used before or there is a fault with the filter.

Big difference in water quality
The machine is great and I love the difference it makes to my London water! There is a huge difference in taste and it's nice to know I'm not drinking all the tap water rubbish. It gets 4 stars and not 5 because there is room for improvement. You have to empty the water bucket at the back every couple of days because of the concentration. I have a garden so can throw it on there, but otherwise it would be wasteful. It's a little annoying, as you have to keep refilling even with 2 litres left in it! Overall a great product, easy to use and makes a big difference, but I feel like there needs to be a more efficient upgrade to it!
