The Quality of this petticoat is outstanding. Three layers of material. The first and third layer are soft organza with a beautiful ribbon like trim along the bottom edge. The middle layer is made of the traditional stiff, tulle netting to give the petticoat more shape. That layer also has a satin like ribbon trim along the bottom. The soft organza layer is nice against the skin and not scratchy at all. I purchased the ruby red and it is gorgeous! The color is so rich and deep, it was definitely true to the color examples given. I almost went with the regular red, but I wanted a richer color and choose the ruby based on the example choices given. I'm glad I did. The sizing was the hardest part for me to decide. In the description they give a size range based on the inch size of your waist, but also gives the sizes in XS, S, M, L, XL... so how to decide? I know I usually wear a M - L size tops and bottoms, but I had no idea what my waist size was. I did know that I fit comfortably in my husbands 30" waist jeans, so I went with that. I was really leaning towards getting the medium based on my regular clothing size, but ultimately choose the small based on the waist inch range given on the elastic stretch of the petticoat. I am a size 10-12 and choose the size S. The fit is great. it's snug enough that you have no fear of it slipping or sliding down, and it doesn't leave you with muffin top or gasping for air. I think I could have gone with the M as well if S wasn't available. Also, I am 5' tall... I usually have to buy the shorter size swing dresses to make them look right on me. The normal length dresses which go down a little bit past the knee on most girls, go down half calf on me... making me look even shorter, so choosing the knee length petticoat was key for my shorter swing dresses. It just barely peeks out along the bottom of the dress which I love. Why invest in such a beautiful petticoat if you can't show it off a bit right? The petticoat does have an button hole/button adjustable waistband though, so if it was just slightly too big, you could tighten it up a bit. But I wouldn't don't go any bigger than maybe one size up from your normal size though. Although the waistband is adjustable, you don't want it all bunched up under your pretty swing dress because you had too much to tighten. When I opened the box, it came wrapped in a plastic bag really tight. I opened the bag and fluffed out the petticoat. It was very pretty right out of the bag, but suuuper wrinkled! especially the tulle layer. Very creased in places and not as pretty as the organza layers, which were fine right out of the bag. So, I decided to was it in hopes that I could get all the layers uniformly curly and pretty. the washing instructions say hand wash warm, fluff dry. Well, I washed mine in the washer on the delicate cycle on warm wash/ warm rinse. It washed well, and when it came out of the washer it was perfect... all three layers were pretty and curly just like the description picture. I decided not to fluff dry it though, I hung it on a hanger to air dry and so that the layers would have more of a chance to lay flat and pull the wrinkles out better. It is so beautiful, nice and full the ribbon detail along the bottom is my favorite part! I have another petticoat that is all fluff organza, not a Malco, but it's much like the Malco Modes soft chiffon petticoat (style 815) and this one is much much prettier! (granted I did buy the other petticoat to go with a corset and a much shorter dress, and it is awesome for that purpose, but if you want something to go under a swing type dress, this is the petticoat to get for sure! I will definitely be buying more Malco Modes petticoats in every color I can get my hands on. Review: I like the petticoat itself - I like the petticoat itself: it's poofy, pretty and looks really nice. Better than I expected to be honest. The material is nice, doesn't feel cheap, and sewn well. The volume is good even for a heavier skirt, it stays nice and full. The adjustable waist band is convenient--I got a small size because I need a decent petticoat right now, and it fits just fine over my sizable 20 week pregnant belly, though I can see that it can be made much smaller to fit me later when the belly goes away. Be aware that if you're short, it's not a knee-length petticoat, even with shortening it's not really going to get there. I'm just barely edging 5'3" and with the unmodified length it hits at mid-calf, especially with a skirt over it. My legs aren't particularly short or long for my body, just average. I'm sure the garment-is-longer-than-expected issue is familiar to a lot of shorter people, but I thought I'd mention it outright.

Well worth every penny!
I bought this to go under my wedding dress and it is so gorgeous on it's own that I will probably wear it by itself as a skirt on another occasion. I have owned several petticoats, but this by far is the best quality one I have ever found. I love it so much that I am ordering it in different pouf styles. The material is great and doesn't itch like most other brands I have owned. It was fluffy right out of the package and once I fluffed it up it was freaking amazing. I also love that the waistline is adjustable since I am trying to get into better shape. This one costs more than others I have owned, but well worth the difference.

Very very full!!!!
Malco modes never disappoints. They are quality petticoats for sure. This peticular style is very full. I was debating between the Michelle ( their fullest petticoat ) and this one the Madeline. I can't even imagine how much fuller the Michelle is, since this one is crazy full. I would say, although not cheap at all, all I could wear it with is a costume not my pin up dresses. Only because I like swish and twirl that this one is a little too stiff for. That being said, I'm 5'4" 180 and the large fits perfect at the waist and this one hits middle knee.

Quality is very Poor
I don't like the waistband, too flimsy to hold up all the fabric. Button loose. Quality just not there

This Petticoat is a must for square dancers!
I love this petticoat! Looking forward to be doing a lot of square dancing in this petticoat. It gives my square dance skirt the fullness needed. I love the satin edge trim on the ruffles. It appears to be very high quality. I would recommend this petticoat to any one seeking square dance attire. Shipped and received very quickly. I would love to see much more brand new square dance attire and merchandise available through Amazon at reasonably affordable and discount/clearance/closeout prices.

Perfect for what I was looking for
This was the perfect length and size for what I was looking for. If you’re looking for a petticoat that won’t fall, this is definitely it! You can absolutely tell the quality - worth it!

Pink Petticoat XL
Their petticoats are really full and seems to be made really well. I have a poodle skirt that I will be wearing with the petticoat and it looks really good.

Perfekt als squaredancepetticoat. Erstklassig verarbeitet mit riesiger Stofffülle, die wunderbar opulent absteht. Nach dem Bügeln der unteren Rüschenlagen sieht er perfekt aus.
