It’s pretty simple to operate. It runs well, it’s smaller than I thought it be which is great. The price was good compared to others.It’s good quality. My only issue was the run time of the fuel, which is less than 12 hrs.

So, I purchased this generator 4 months ago. I finally used it for my first tailgating opportunity and it was only running one 24 inch TV. After about 5 hours it started shutting down. After restart it would shut down again in 10 minutes with the overload light flashing red as it shut down. When I called Amerisuninc on September 7th to ask them about this problem, I was told that running it for 5 hours was a long time and that I shouldn’t run it so long as it gets hot. Really? It’s a generator and many generators around me on the same day I was tailgating ran for 10 hours or more with no issues. So, if my power goes out and I wanted to run my refrigerator, I better tell the power company that I only have 5 hours and they need to have my power back up by then. What a joke, I have never heard a manufacturer say that about their product - in this case a 2200W generator. Worse response ever and worse product I have ever bought. Please get a Ryobi, or Honda, or some other more reputable brand than Amerisuninc. I would like my money back as no where in their brochure or in the description do they ever mention this limitation. The brochure even says at 1/4 load it can run for 10.5 hours. Go figure, that’s a straight up lie! This happened again with using it outside to run my electric chainsaw. After running it for a few hours (on and off) it started shutting down again. It is truly a worthless generator.

Bought the unit during florida hurricane prep tax free week. After hurricane Ian i had no power for 7 days and was not going through that again. I wanted a generator that was big enough to power a window ac unit, the fridge, and few lights and be able to run overnight without refueling. This unit fit that criteria. So With free shipping, $40 Amazon coupon and no sales tax, total cost was $389. The unit was very well packed with hard Styrofoam, the Samsonite gorilla could of handled this package and probably not hurt it. Set up was very easy, put in oil (funnell included, oil not included) non-ethanal gas and it started on the first pull. Ran it for an hour with a very light load (very small refrigerator) and then changed the oil. Ran it for an hour again (with the fridge) and then changed the oil again. Then I ran it for an hour again with the fridge and the wash machine running, the idea being to put a little more varying load on it. Then I changed the oil again. Now with 3 hours of break in time I fiquered it should be ready. So I ran it with the window ac, the fridge, the wash machine, a fan, and a few lights. The power meter showed the load at 25% . Ran it for an hour and then changed the oil again. The last oil change came out clean with virtually no visible metal flecks. The first change had alot of flecks, the second a little, the third just a few, and the last one virtually none. Pros: has a fuel gage and two and a half gallon fuel capacity, it should be able to run overnight without refueling, we shall see. Also has a power percentage meter that shows how much load is on the unit . Being open frame it was very easy to change the oil and refill it. The unit is very compact and takes very little space. When running it wasn't overly loud, not as quiet as an enclosed inverter but not screaming, can hear it 3 blocks away like a normal generator. Overall very impressive. Con: at about 70 pounds the unit is just heavy enough to warrant caution when you have to move it. For me it's OK , I not going to be constantly moving it around, but for powering a rv or a situation were you have to constantly move it, unless you can mount it semi permanently or put some kind of wheels on it, I would not recommend it.

Great little generator not to heavy and compact gets the job done got some good power for its size good value.

This generator works for more than 5 hours with 5 work lights (54K lumens) connected without any problems. I had some questions about the use and their customer service answered all of them immediately. I'll mark it in my favorites list. This generator is running half of the lights I'm using to illuminate the soccer field

Excellent unit quite.....once I put oil and fuel into generator ,it starred on first pull ..lots of power for what I need while camping in my trailer
