I really enjoyed this book because it tells the future big brother or sister that he or she is very important to the new baby. It does so without overwhelming the oldest child with tasks that may be too difficult. Every page tells of a duty that can naturally be accomplished by the older sibling. I purchased this book as a gift to a little boy who's feeling anxious about his soon to be born baby sister. I believe this book will make him feel more confident as a big brother.

This is a gorgeous little story book. Definitely for under 5s though. The messaging is great but the level doesn't really stretch outside of the recommended age group - great for a 4yo though. Artwork is lovely too and this book is a great way to involve older siblings. Gifted this as part of a maternity gift to a colleague and was a big hit.

This book is beautifully illustrated with simple, large and engaging pictures. There are only a few words on a page so it works well for reading to my 2 year old son. He enjoyed reading it and we used the pictures and sentences as a discussion starter for the way he can interact with his baby brother once he is born.
