GREAT AMP, SMOOTH, QUIET, IT HAS LIGHT COMPRESSION. NO BUTTON POPS. NO SHUT DOWN NOISE.
This amp beats any PV amp you can try. It is better than any PV amp heads. No harshness, just very great sound. The horn allows for a crisp top if needed. No cabinet vibration. Cooling fan is quiet. I can tell the amp design is good. Unlike PV, there are no pop noises when adjusting. The amp is grounded well. The amp is stable when shutting down, there are no pop noises or transients to ground. Unlike PV there are no startup thumps. PV amps are harsh and the woofers do not sound clean. This amp will work great for stage and practice. It will sound great in a moderate sized building as is. The output for an extra speaker will be even better with double the power and sound. I ran this for 2 hours solid at home. I felt the fan discharge only cool air. Even when I pushed it the amp ran cool. This is a great amp, trust me, I have tried many. Fender is going to be my choice from now on. BEST IN 30 YEARS. The simple to use tone controls work very well for adjusting sound quickly. My high end bass shines in this amp. The pre-amp gain is tremendous. When I turn the bass knob to full, this amp is a killer and the speaker does not hit X-max. Amazingly, the amp is light weight and you can not feel any cabinet vibration. 35 lbs. is just perfect for moving from place to place.

Very nice amp.
Sounds great, even at low volume. The effects loop is working great and no noises or popping sounds. I haven't tried the direct out yet, but so far I am very happy with this amp.

Fantastic combo amp!
Awesome budget amp. It's crazy light, which makes lugging it up and down stairs easy (I do this often). Despite its weight it can get pretty loud; more than enough for playing at home - alone I rarely go past 2-3 o clock on the master, with a full band I rarely have to crank past 5-6. The EQ is quite good and there is a big range of sounds you can get. The built in distortion is great ('Vintage' is where it's at) and with a dedicated footswitch it substitutes for a dedicated distortion pedal just fine for being built-in. Aux-in is awesome. I practice with my phone plugged in often, and it's really an awesome way to play along with songs or backing tracks which is always helpful for bass. The construction is all very solid, but it's easy to think the amp is a little flimsy since it is so light and obviously made of plywood, but that comes along with not weighing 100 lbs.

A must have
When it comes to amps, Fender seldom disappoints. Decision to buy one was based on my previous experiences and reviews. Here's my take: It sounds awesome. Plenty of boom, rumble and punch. The horn delivers crisp highs and it awesomely captures the plectrum clicks for that vintage sound. Tone controls cover everything you need to customize the tone to your taste. I tried it with regular Fender Jazz, Precision and a fretless. Rolling down the midrange gives you a beautiful growl whether you play fretted or fretless Jazz. I plugged in my EB0 and the results followed. It also performed well as a guitar and keyboard amp. Really, I can't find anything to complain about. Being super light is just an added bonus! This amp is worth every penny. It's been a while since I've toyed with such a unique and versatile product! Don't wait, go buy one!

Excellent quality sound
This is a very powerful amplifier. As the name says RUMBLE is truly a description of the sound quality of this amplifier. It is all you need for a home studio. Excellent sound quality, durable and very portable. The cover fits snugly and is very attractive.

Not bad at all!
I went with the 200w combo. I was worried it wouldn't be loud enough to keep up with a noisy drummer in small to mid-sized venues but it seems to do the trick. It's got a direct output too so you can hook it into a PA system for bigger or outdoor venues. It sounds really clean, like REALLY clean - just for fun I plugged a couple of my vintage synthesizers into it and was blown away with how good it sounds, arguably better than the studio monitors I've been using, plus way louder. My only thing is the built-in EQ doesn't seem to do a whole lot and the drive doesn't sound very good - but this is something I sort of expected from a solid state amplifier in this price range. I haven't really tried it with external effects yet, but that may be necessary if you like a little warmth in your sound. As far as portability goes, it's definitely light compared to other bass amps I've used, but it's also definitely heavier than I expected. I ended up installing a set of wheels from Harbor Freight on the bottom, which basically resolved that concern. Overall I'd say it's for sure worth the cost, if you're looking for something to toss in the back of your car and head to a smaller gig or rehearsal with I can't really think of a better amp in this price range.

Yep. Just what I needed.
Tried a peavey max 115, both were bad upon delivery... see my review on that item... Added a few more shekels and choice was tween rumble 200, ampeg 115 and ashdown 115. I went with this over the ashdown bc of the expansion options. After 2 bad peaveys, I just felt paranoid on any combo going through the mail. Whelps, the fender did not disapoint... this is a combo I can travel with as its light. It's something in practice and perform with... and expand if need be. I can run it to the board in the studio I can run my phone through it for playing along. I can go quiet wit headphone... There are a lot of tonal shaping if needed and u don't have outboard hardware.. Just what I needed. I just need it to be durable and stand the test of time. Only thing I don't like about fender is the cloth that covers the front... would rather blacked out... or metal grate... but I can fix that myself.. Throw in the extra money and buy this if u r like me and are considering a cheaper product... fender, ashdown, ampeg are legit based on needs.....basically 400bux of a reputable brand will get u a good 115 combo, not 250bux. stay away from the peavey 115 specifically. Thanks.
