Planet Waves Restore Guitar Polish - Plastic

Using since 7 years now. Definitely protects and shines my guitar. Helps keep the shine.

The product is quite good although the description is a bit misleading. Yes it does polishes the surface of the instrument removing dirt and smudges but don't expect it to remove any kind of scratches or swirl marks. All it does is cleans your instrument and gives it a bit of temporary shine.

It is the first product from the total guitar servicing pack. It worked with my ESP AX-50 which has a matte finish, and added to its original beauty. No doubt! This bottle will last very long for me. Please avoid its over use, read instructions on the bottle and always use before 'Restore Detailer' and 'Protect Guitar Wax'. Avoid it on the fretboard, use for body and back of neck only! Great product! Just use sparingly unless you are a pro who keeps on touring or the same guitar is handled by many persons!

Before buying this product I had a lot of thoughts like will it give the result which I am looking for but since it's planet wave I went for this product for my acoustic guitar and the result was amazing, it's easy to use and gets the job done and with a perfect finish. My guitar is 9 yrs old but it looks new again. (Check out the pictures)

The product is good. Does it's job well. But you have to be prepared with atleast three pieces of clean dry cloth, otherwise you will not get that much finish. One for applying the polish, second for rough buffing and third for finishing touch. I will also suggest to wear gloves before starting the job. Because after the work is done, you will find a lot of polish stuck at the end of your nails and it will be very difficult to clean it. Thanks and regards.

Note: This polish is NOT for all guitars. It is only for clear coated guitars. Pros: 1. The polish is EXCELLENT! It cleans your guitar neatly and gives it a glossy shine. 2. It is one of the very few products available for guitar polishing, and honestly the best among the ones I've tried. Cons: 1. Unlike what most other people say, NO, this WILL NOT REMOVE SCRATCHES. It is a temporary effect. The polish forms a layer over the guitar and makes it look like the scratches are gone. This is common of all polishes. But this is not a disadvantage. This is just how a polish works. 2. The polish shines and cleans the required area extremely well. However, other metal parts and edges like your bridge, strap buttons, etc. - these are the areas where the polish will get stuck. You need to clean it off immediately after polishing. Otherwise the polish settled on this will harden after a while and forms a white layer. Sometimes, it's very hard to know where the polish has ended up, and you will notice only after it has dried up. It can still be removed, but it's quite irritating. 3. You don't necessarily need all the 3 products in this cleaning series! This is ALL you need. Get this and you're good. Conclusion: It's the best polish for your guitar. Though it's priced aggressively, I have found this to be the best after trying various other polishes.

ITS AN AWESOME PRODUCT IF YOU KNOW THE CORRECT WAY OF USING IT. YOU CAN EASILY TURN AN OLD DIRTY GUITAR INTO A NEW PERFECTLY POLISHED ONE. GO THROUGH THE PICTURES SINCE THAT CAN HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE CHANGE .

Good product but the packaging was awful and the bottle has a crack

I had very bad scratches in some of my guitars, I used this three step polish and wax after sanding the guitar and it worked perfectly to get rid of the scratches and bring the shine back to the guitar. Very satisfied with the products.

Gently but effectively removes decades of film and dirt and leaves a natural sheen. I recently used it in the restoration of a 62-year-old archtop, and it removed the dull film and safely restored the original sheen of the nitro finish without affecting the vintage checking. This is my new Go-to product for cleaning up my vintage guitars. Also, compared to my previous favorite Stew-Mac product this is a bargain.

ディープクリーニングなので、研磨剤が入ってます。 金属を磨いたら、ティッシュが黒くなり、金属がピカピカになりました。 ピカールほど研磨力は強くない感じです。 ちょっと粘土は硬め？な感じで、ドロっと、伸び感はピカールに似てる感じもします。 DEEPなので、確かに綺麗になります！ステップ１なので、３個買わないとだめですねｗ 普通に拭くだけなら、STEP3のダダリオ シャインスプレーの方が良いかも！
